Hill must be on Pops list. Roger's running point.
No..I think it's something they're trying. Like they said on ESPN..gives them a weapon to use in the playoffs. Trying to make it where people can't double off the point on to Timmy.

So... I guess Hill is not our backup PG now?

Pop's would prefer to spot Hill some small spurts in the playoffs. Hey, a rookie is a rookie.

He'd prefer Mason play mor mins than Hill. He trusts him more.

I don't have a problem with that. But as you can see, his PG ball handling is rusty and there will be turnovers. But if Pop has made up his mind that this is the guy he wants to run the point in the playoffs when Tony sits, then you have to let him work through the turnovers right now.

If you put Mason out there with Manu, you can let Manu bring the ball up. and then give it back to Rog...

The Pop interviews are so fun. How he keeps a straight face with most of his 'answers' is great.

LOL! Pop never ceases to make the between quarter chat with him the most uncomfortable interview to do (for the reporter) and to watch (the world)!!!

I'd say Mason at PG is because we're getting no offense at all from Hill. You can't have that many offensive liabilities out there on the court and no defense to go with it.

Plus maybe having Hill at off guard is a lot better than having a rookie is learning to play PG run your offense in the playoffs.

I'd say Mason at PG is because we're getting no offense at all from Hill. You can't have that many offensive liabilities out there on the court and no defense to go with it.

But like Bowen, I do believe Pop values a defensive specialist and he will find a place to use him well.

I can see it now, TP getting torched to start a game and getting tired in the playoffs. Enter Hill for 5 mins to swing the "tired" pendulum the other way a little bit.

That's exactly what it's coming to. And it's SO good to have someone who can do that.
