Spurs can't be taken seriously since they've lost to the Mavs twice this year

Nuggets best player is Melo, can't be taken seriously.

Blazers are too soft and young, can't be taken seriously. Plus they've lost to the Mavs twice which disqualifies them as a contender. A lot of luck ass wins for them too.

Hornets are just a bunch of over the hill jump shooters who are soft mentally and play no defense. No points in paint, NO FTA. can't take them seriously. Also, a superstar who defers to Jannero mutha in Pargo in the 4th quarter of crucial Game 7's. SO yeah, not a threat in the playoffs plus they have a lot of luck ass wins this year.

Rockets I just don't think yao can carry a team, can't be taken seriously. legit defense though.

Jazz have a weaksauce interior defense and struggle on the road and have an inflated record due to the bull they get away with at home. Again, can't be taken seriously. Their brand of defense is foul foul foul and hope the refs don't call it, only works at home. Offensive talent, but can't be taken seriously.

Mavs are lacking scoring from 3 of the starting 5 positions and are inconsistent, weak on the road, can't guard guards in a guard laden West. Can't be taken seriously. Luck ass wins.

Suns play absolutely no defense, can't guard guards in a guard laden West. Lacking a true superstar even when Amare is healthy, again can't be taken seriously.

8 pretenders and the Lakers if you ask me.

Play no defense? I told you we're grinding out victories lately and West has been a machine from the FT line. Defense has improved with Butler and Posey. Also, with Pargo gone, CP3 doesn't defer anymore. Also winning record on the road and team is fully healthy finally. We're gonna keep grinding out more victories.

haha damn those standings are crazy..if a team goes on a slump they can go from 3rd to 8th in a week or two

every game is a playoff game from now on.

10th in defensive efficiency is no defense.

Fools gold on only being 2 games back of 3rd. That was teh same case 30 games ago for the Mavs and all the while ground hasn't been eaten, although it would've been if we cut out the stupid losses to Queens Clippers Thunder Grizzlies.

Im guessin 7/8/9 range for the boys in blue.

It's top 10 in the league. Better than 20 other teams.

Also, West is averaging 28.5 pts and 12 boards in the last 5 games since Chandler game back. He's pretty confident right now. He was asked about going up against Dirk tomorrow night and he responded with "Dirk who?" Then he goes on saying, "Whoever stands in my way, I'm going through him."

I predicted 8th, but actually tied with the Jazz. A few more road wins could change that.

West's production recently is a fluke, and even with it, the Hornets have needed lucky breaks against mediocre East teams.

And 10th in the league isn't saying much... there's only 6 teams in the league that actually play defense.

Actually, those teams from the East got flukishly hot in the 2nd half of those games and still couldn't make the plays to beat us.

Hornets are just a fake tough team.

At least most of the soft teams in the league are aware of their softness.

Hornets are bunch of jump shooters who play lazy undisciplined defense and fold mentally in crucial game 7's by deferring to Eurobasket scrubs.
And yet they think they're tough, and worthy of the league's respect. West thinks he's an All Star, Chandler thinks he's an elite center, and Paul thinks he is en led to have every flop of his meant with a whistle.Sorry, West and Paul had their chance last year but decided rather than try to win a crucial game 7 on their home court, an arena where the Spurs had lost 5 games in succession that year, they would sit back and watch Jannero mutha in Pargo take shot after shot. That's when they showed the world they were mentally soft.

only 81 PPG over the final 2 playoff games last year for the Hornets. Why, because you cannot rely on luck jump shooting forever. It worked against the Mavs and in games 1, 2, and 5 but it will always cool off.

And they didn't address their lack of explosive wing or scoring big man this offseason so expect them to fade in the playoffs once again barring an onslaught of hot jump shooting.

I actually made it up to see your reaction. But he's no difference than Dirk. Same mold, just shorter. However, he seems angry lately.

One's a hall of famer, the other's a fluke 2 time All Star who defers to Jannero Pargo.

West's back was too hurt to do anything in that game 7. Plus it just wasn't the Hornets time. No one blamed Wade for his Game 7 loss against the Pistons at home. You give him a free pass. It's was the team's first time in the playoffs so they did get nervous. They were nervous in Game 1 against Dallas being down by 12 at the half before blasting them the rest of the series on easy dunks, layups and a few timely 3's. No fluke there. No fluke in blowing out the Spurs 3 games that series.
