Raiders or ans.
Cowboys will miss the playoffs again, largely due to poor WR play. watch.
TO to the Raiders is a popular link but I don't see it. As crazy as Davis is, I think he passes here to protect his 60 million investment at QB who is on the verge of becoming a bust. Signing TO all but guarantees it
Redskins? They mentioned this on Mike and Mike. 2 games against Dallas and Philly along with Snyder who is more capable of doing this. Maybe
New England? Another popular pick because of their success with Moss and Dillon, only problem is Moss and Owens can't stand each other.
My sleeper pick is Indy. Established QB, established franchise, big question mark at HC though. Just a hunch
With Andre Johnson? That would be an interesting 1-2 punch. Owens looks real good on alot of teams, on paper.
I don't want his ass back in Philly, that's for sure.
Yeah, you can basically rule Philly, New York Giants, and Miami out.
I'm a little curious as to how basically a rookie QB is already on the verge of becoming a bust? He put up a 77 QB rating, and threw a low # of INTs. I think he is far from being on the verge of becoming a bust. Those #'s arent bad for a rookie, considering how ty his offense is. The only competent reciever he has is Zach Miller, who is a TE and is used to block more than he should be used, cuz their OL is so terrible.
I guess Antoni_Laker didn't watch Jamarcuss' last 3 games of the regular season once Mario Henderson started over Kwame Harris. All the Raiders need to do is get him a good line, and they will be set.
You guys are completely missing my point. For the #1 overall pick those numbers, and his play, are not promising numbers. You are looking at his numbers and assuming he will improve. I'm looking at those numbers and thinking that based on what we've seen of him so far, they won't. And if they don't, then he is a bust. Now take TO, who hand-picked Donavan by the way, and who couldn't get along with other established QBs he's played with and you pair him up with Russell? Recipe for disaster, and that's why Davis won't do it.
Why are you assuming they won't?

I wouldn't mind the Ravens picking him up. He would be a of a target for Flacco. The son of a is all world when he stays on his meds.
Jamarcus Russell's progress in his first 2 seasons is actually pretty comparable to John Elway's first 2 seasons. I always thought Elway was overrated, but even so, I'm guessing Raider fans won't complain if Russell keeps progressing that way.

Mort from ESPN said only 1 team might want him......The Raiders. I think if T.O would take half of what The Cowboys were paying him alot of team would take a shot at him. And once again a NFL contract means .
If signing T.O. means staying away from Crabtree with the #7 pick, I am all for it. I really want to grab an O-Linemen or BJ Raji.
I wasn't looking at the stats. I watched all 16 Raider games and Russel was clearly improving towards the end of the season.
His problem is holding on the ball to long. But what were you going to do with your best receiver being Zach Miller and having the two worst Tackles in the NFL protecting you?
ya he's supposed to take two a day.....unfortunately he has days where he accidentally take 33 more than that and almost kills himself.
are you an agent? it seems to really bother you that NFL contracts are enforced exactly how they are worded.
I doubt Oz would sign off on that deal with the way he spit in our face last time. You never know though.
Hey K-State how about your Skins? Would you mind if Snyder scooped him up?
#1 team right now has to be the Raiders.
but I wouldn't be surprised to see a desperate team that has playoff potential make a move.....
the Vikings come to mind.
