I understand your feelings that Rhianna is acting ignorantly to go back to Chris Brown, if he is indeed the one who beat her.

However I pity Rhianna because- though we know her decision to return to her abuser is stupid, and deep down I am sure Rhianna knows that too- she doesn't have the courage, strength, or self respect left to leave a man who is very likely to mistreat her again and could quite possibly damage her worse next time.

Well, this isn't some poor woman who's economically dependent upon another person. She's not in a position where no one would believe her about the abuse, and I'd say that her fame wouldn't take a hit if she left him for good, either. She isn't in a place where she will have problems living life if she leaves him. She is a rich musician in the prime of her life and she has all the options in the world to go anywhere and do anything she wants.

And she chooses this. Idiocy. I understand the concept of co-dependency, but there is a huge step between, "I have trouble with my self-esteem" and "I'm going to go back to the man who seriously beat me".

Women like her are the reason jerks are allowed to stay jerks without fear of being alone. It's PATHETIC, I don't care how many emotional problems she has.

What he did to her was SOOOOOOOO horrible, and he beat her SO badly....

Yet she's back together with him less than a month later again. I have no words for how stupid that woman is.

I hope people stop defending Rihanna now. I am not ever for the abuse of women, but those women that allow themselves to be mistreated and learn NOTHING from it, well... I'm not going to defend a single one of their actions. Ever.

Chris Brown charged with 2 felonies

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Chris Brown has been charged with two felonies stemming from an argument with his girlfriend, Rihanna, court do ents show.

Brown is expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon on charges of assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats. The 19-year-old R&B singer remains free on $50,000 bail.

The felony complaint handed down in court Thursday morning identifies Brown's alleged victim only as "Robyn F." Rihanna's real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

If convicted, the possible sentence ranges anywhere from probation to four years and eight months in state prison, said district attorney's spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.

According to a detective's affidavit, Brown and Rihanna got into a fight early Feb. 8 after the "Umbrella" singer checked her boyfriend's cell phone and found a text message from another woman.

Brown pulled his car over and tried to push Rihanna out, but she was still wearing her seatbelt, Los Angeles police Detective De Shon Andrews wrote. He said Brown pushed Rihanna's head against the window, punched her with his right hand, and then continued driving while hitting her, the affidavit states. He also bit his girlfriend on the ear, the affidavit states.

The affidavit was filed as part of a search warrant request for the phone records of Brown, Rihanna and her assistant.

Brown allegedly threatened to kill Rihanna after she pretended to leave a phone message with her assistant, telling her to have the police waiting at her house.

Andrews described Brown's blows as causing Rihanna's mouth to fill with blood. He also writes that Brown tried to choke Rihanna after she took the keys to his car away.

Brown was arrested hours later and booked him on su ion of making criminal threats. Police said at the time a woman identified Brown as her attacker during an early morning dispute in an upscale Los Angeles neighborhood.

A phone message left for Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, was not immediately returned Thursday. Brown's publicist Tony Knight said any statement would likely come from Geragos after today's hearing.

Rihanna's spokesperson had no comment on the charges filed against Brown.

Brown issued a statement a week after the incident saying that he was "sorry and saddened" about the incident. Rihanna also later issued a statement, saying she wouldn't comment on the alleged beating at the request of authorities. She thanked fans for their support.

Brown's arrest has been a dent in the "Run It!" singer's squeaky-clean image, and compelled sponsors to drop him or not renew his deals.

The alleged attack also came hours before the couple were scheduled to appear and perform at the Grammy Awards. Both were no-shows for event.

They have known each other since 2005 (although they haven't been dating that long.) I don't condone either of their actions (especially Chris Brown's, he belongs in jail.) However, these things arn't always as black and white as they seem. I know from personal experience that it can be very difficult to leave a person that you love/or are obsessed with even if they hurt you, especially at such a young age. She may have all the resources in the world, but that doesn't mean she isn't depressed/lonely, etc.

Should she leave him? Absolutly. She is extremly talanted and I hope she has the streangth to leave him, as hard as it may be.

However, like most things, easier said then done.

Mystery Woman in Brown/Rihanna Case Revealed

TMZ knows who triggered the fight that left Rihanna battered and bruised and Chris Brown an accused felon -- it's Brown's manager.

Sources tell us the woman who left the three-page text message on Brown's cell phone is Tina Davis. Davis -- who turns 40 this month -- was rumored to have had a relationship with Brown when he was 16. Brown and Davis have denied it.

Law enforcement tells us the text message to Brown talked about hooking up later -- and it totally pissed off Rihanna. She slapped and hit him and he then brutally fired back.

The detective's affidavit refers to the text message as being "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with."

Davis could not be reached for comment.


If this is true and she hit him first - she had it coming. You can't complain about somebody hitting you better than you hit them.
