You just said that Dirk is no doubt better and your question is who would you rather have right now?
Seems like you answered your own question.
dirk or bargnani. dirk is no doubt better, but he is 30 . bargnani is playing really well right now getting 20+ points each night and is 23 and developing .

How dare you disrespect our beloved Dirk like this.
Meh... Dirk is better than Al Jefferson. But if I'm a young rebuilding team, I'd rather have Al Jefferson right now than Dirk and it's not even close.
Nowitzki over Bargnani in every imaginable situation.
Bargnani has had a very good year. He is not a "1st round pick", but he did take a step forward this year. But Dirk still has many years of good bball left physically, lets see how his mind holds up if things don't work out in D-Town.
Bargnani is a first round pick. Just not a #1 overall selection.
I remember when Courtney Alexander had that one good month and everyone thought he'd be a perennial All-Star.

This is what I meant.
Mono is right, Bustnani has one good month and everyone wants to crown him the next Larry Bird.
Bargnani has been playing great lately, but we have yet to see if he can do it on a consistent basis
i mean who would you pick today without knowing how good bargnani will be
Bargnani has been playing decently for more than a month now - in fact, he was much better in January than last month. He's still not very good though, just more respectable. His inability to rebound the ball or be more than serviceable defensively sinks his value.
He boxes out pretty well, just that he is too much of a nice guy and lets his team mates get the ball. His defense is servicable, being 7 foot, his quickness is above average to keep up with the more athletic centers in the league.
Lets see...I have to choose between a pussy and an even bigger pussy? Tough choice.
Team: Utah Jazz
Pot meet da mutha in kettle.
I'll have to partially disagree there. He's improved somewhat this season, but one can still find him boxing out his own teammates or not boxing out at all very frequently. Anyway, it's true he has been better on that department making him less of an hindrance to his team. He still needs to get better reads of the flights of the ball and work on his handling to become passable.
His defence is weird. Personally, I think he's at his best defending the low post but he's weak closing screen/rolls. It should be the opposite.
dirk can play until he reachs 40
Floplinko is probably the biggest pansy in NBA history. GTFO with that getting beat off the dribble and trying to block from behind pussy defense, as well as the flopping.
OMG Dirk just got compared to Bargnani! HAHAHAHAHAHA
Dirk. His game doesn't rely on athleticism very much he will still be good for 4-5 years.
Ummmm Dirk.
Without knowing how good Barganani will be, you pick the better player, which again you already pointed out yourself is Dirk.
Why is it Dirk v Bargnani debate anyway, cause they're both White EUros?
BOOOO
How about a KObe v Bargnani debate, Kobe's 30 too
Or Duncan or Bargnani, Duncan's almost 33
or KG, he's almost 33
