I'm an addict.
A porn study done in San Antonio found that watching pornography is as addictive as cocaine, meth and alcohol. It can also lead to social problems in teenagers.
Dr. Donald Hilton, Jr. with the American Board of Neurological Surgery was one of the researchers. He discovered the frontal lobe of the brain shrinks in people who are addicted to porn. Dr. Hilton says that is the same thing that happens in drug addicts and alcoholics. Porn, he says, has a hijacking effect of the natural pleasure system in the brain and can affect a person's judgment causing them to be easily agitated and impulsive.
Dr. Hilton says porn can also cause a teen who spends hours watching it to have a skewed image of sexuality. He says it can create social detachment or insecurity when interacting with the opposite sex.

also in england, you only get one spoon when youre born, and if you lose it, you starve to death, unless someone in your family wills one to you, and they have spoon millionares too because people hoard them
I hope the A&E show "Intervention" is aware of this and is tracking down porn addicts.

What happened to the study that men who oggle breasts daily live longer?
So one can conclude that we'll be dumber, but live that many more days that we can gaze at breasts...

On a serious note, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe the brain damage is there first and leads to addictive personalities and antisocial behavior. How are they defining porn addiction? What's the threshold between that and what most of us probably do.

this study is bull . ever since i saw this same study from a different source several days ago, i made a point not to see any porn just to see if it was really that addictive. i dont think its just that easy to get off a drug for 4 days at a time, and i still really havent felt the need to watch any
