Great finis to the half.. Spurs shut down Phoenix in the 2nd half.. once again Spurs schooling the Suns that defense makes the difference. Timmy does his talking by his playing and making Shaq look pedestrian so far.
We need to jump on them on the 3rd quarter. Don't even let them think they can win this game.

What we need is a a in player that knows how to make an entry pass and a PG more concerned with winning games than having fun.
Nash is in full blown selfish mode right now, 27 shots on Friday and 13 at the half. This team has never been good when Nash is taking more shots than everyone, and Nash knows that, he's got some hidden agenda the way he's playing and it's getting infuriating to watch.
+1 The third quarter has been bad for the Spurs all season...hopefully, they can come out gunning and stretch that lead some more.

Btw everyone, I said the Spurs were playing decent defense after 1 quarter, the Suns were just making some crazy shots. Do you see what I'm saying now that those shots have stopped falling?

Shaq is pitiful.. Jumping on SVG's "flopper" comment. Its ok for him to say even more outarageous things about other players but he sure can be onion-skinned.
I hope Hill and Hairston get some decent burn in the second half, since they've combined for less than a second so far.

It's funny how many people don't understand that if you're playing a top 5 offensive team the D probably won't be holding them to 72 points.Certain posters will hate on the D no matter how well the O of the other team actually is.
Popovich is smart enough to know that if being down after one quarter means the other team's offense peaks early in the game then it's well worth it.
