He served as Miami’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 1995-2000 and the Hurricanes won all four of their bowl games during that time.
He also did a fantastic job at losing control of his players, something that didn't happen under Davis.

that's subjective...with 6 bowl appearances in 6 seasons with 4 wins and an overall winning percentage among the best, there's at the very least an argument on the other side. although his team the last season did under achieve, it's well know he didn't have the best relationship with the miami ad and president. he was fired december 2006, interviewed for the rice job the following january and has been out of football for just over 2 years.
but to say he won games with players he didn't recruit is wrong.

The rest of the threads are just for normal sports talk. You can go into the UTSA forum all you want--if you want to be civil and talk UTSA sports. They can go into any thread in the College Sports forum--if they want to be civil and talk college sports.
