    on the collage sports bord all anyone dose is talk , and the only fanbase that gets upset is the utsa fan's
    maybe its becuse they dont have a football team yet.

    i am a fan of OU i get as much crap on here or more than anyone
    but i know it is all in good fun
    and i talk back and no one crys. The problem is the utsa fans
    and when peewee or blake or anyone eles gives them
    its funny becuse they cry

    ANYWAY! the time off thing was probably b.s. but dude had a healthy $2-$3 milllion dollar buyout from the u to live off. he's not an nfl head coach, a lot of college coaches aren't. and i'm not saying butch davis had nothing to do with the success at miami, but coker deserves at least some credit...regardless, for what utsa is doing (starting a program from scratch), he his the most qualified, experienced candidate available. in the short term, no doubt coker is automatically the best coach in the southland conference. in the long term the hope is that he stays here 5-10 years and is able to guide an invite into c-usa.
