It has more to do with cops not helping me the times that I've needed them than it has to do with me wanting to avoid the consequences of my illegal activity.

And I'm not going to go into an anecdotal screed about why I hate cops, but a very small part of it has to do with marijuana. Marijuana's illegal and they're law enforcement. I'm not stupid enough to overly resent them enforcing the laws they exist to enforce.
