DOK has officially gone off the deep end. Which sucks, because I have to feed him through a straw now.

I understand why you would think that, so hear me out here.

Tonight, for all respective purposes, marked the end of an era. Sure, I can talk about how the 2004-2008 Suns didn't win any championships and try to minimize the era as much as possible to support whatever argument I'm trying to make or try to cover up my true feelings about the run n' gun Suns, but it was the most successful 4 year stretch in franchise history, and it led to great memories with friends.

As odd as this analogy is, you can consider my newly found love for tanking games and berating Suns players like Nash the equivalent of a girl, who's boyfriend just broke up with her, suddenly becoming the friendly neighborhood skank who s anything that walks.

So while the girl uses all the random men she's ed as a means to falsely convince herself she never liked her boyfriend, I falsely convinced myself with all this draft lottery/losing games/Steve Nash sucks talk that I never liked the run and gun Suns. Usually the girl figures out she's acting out because she misses her boyfriend and no amount of random guys she s will change that. Tonight was when I figured out that I'm posting so many assanine negative things because I miss the team that won 60 games, and somehow creating the mindset that losing games is good isn't going to change the fact I miss the 2005 and 2007 Suns.

So if I seem insane and incredibly dumb with the stuff I post about the Suns, it's because 2004-2008 got me so used to seeing a contender that blew out the weaker compe ion all the time, that quite frankly, the reality of them being a lottery team had yet to hit me before tonight. It hit me and it hit me hard.

I always thought it was funny how 4 games changed everyone's opinion of Wade. It's also funny that 4 games turned Wade into the second coming of Michael Jordan. Personally, I think it takes a whole lot more than 4 games to define a player's reputation and legacy. I have always thought that Wade was a little overrated and lucky.

Everybody according to jacob1983 he thinks what wade has done all season is overrated.

Hold on. I said that Wade is having a great season. However, if you don't include this season then Wade is somewhat overrated. But seriously, if Wade is a great player and better than Kobe and Lebron then why hasn't he done anything good lately? Ever since becoming Charles Barkley's homeboy and Stern's little darling, Wade hasn't done anything to help his team in the playoffs. The only Wade has done since getting his gift in 2006 is be in a bunch of phone commercials with Charles Barkley and cry while being escorted off the court in a wheel chair. If Wade can get his team out of the first round this year then I will shut up about it and give him props.

He could drop 100, dish 50 dimes, and grab 30 rebounds a game while on his way to sweeping the Lakers and I still wouldn't give that limp props. The reason? 94 of those points probably came from the foul line. 45 of those assists were probably bad passes that just happened to end well. 25 of those rebounds were probably gifts from the scorers table, much like LaBoners triple double this year. He's a choad.
