As one can see from my le...I live in Tyler, TX(AKA little Dallas) where it is basically a sin to root for any team other than the Mavericks. I make 5 hour pilgrimages at least twice a year to Mecca, where my religious duties are fulfilled a the AT&T Temple. This year cost me more than just tickets and a hotel...as I gave up my call weekend at work which will set me back several hundred dollars on my paycheck(I'm already on a limited budget). Since I have had my satellite I have had League Pass every year except one...and that year I got it for after the All-Star break. I DVR every game I am not at home to see and watch it that night regardless of how early I have to get up(I get up at 4am to work a 12hr shift and have been up past midnight many nights watching games). I was there for the 2007 slaying of the Suns in game 6 and proudly marched victoriously out of the AT&T Temple with my brethren.

Money I don't have and time and energy I don't have go into this team and I love every minute of it. If that is not a fanatic I don't know what is.

Hot ! I'm in Seattle, too, and my son and I never miss a game online/Nat TV. We've yet to see them live, but we plan on getting down to at least a couple of Playoff games if we can scrape the cash together.

    GO SPURS, ALL THE WAY!!!!
I'm on the other side of the Cascades, in the Yakima Valley. I've got league pass & rarely ever miss a game. If I'm traveling, I listen to them on Sirius. I grew up & lived most of my life in SA. My dad had season tickets from 76-98. Then, they just got too costly. I went to so many games. I was sad to see the Sonics go, cause it was 1 of 2 places I could see my team. I didn't mind making the 2 1/2 hour drive. I love the Spurs. Everytime I visit my family in SA I always bring back some Spurs stuff.

I'm representing all the Spurs fans from Timmy's home island of St. Croix.

Been bleeding silver and black since he got there and will love SA forever. Never been able to see him live (its a dream) so I make do with league pass broadband and the nationally televised games.

I was at the first game at Hemisfair Arena on Oct. 10, 1973 against the San Diego Conquistadors and have been hooked ever since. Some lean years in between Silas, Gervin, Kenon , and others during that run and the arrival of the Admiral, but loyal to the end.

The thing that people give me crap for is the fact that I have never lived anywhere near San Antonio. I only got into basketball a few years ago. As stupid as it sounds, I did a lot of research into the different teams, watching old games (the downloadable playoff games that NBA.com offered were a great tool), reading through team histories, etc.

It didn't take long to settle on the Spurs as my team of choice. They are a consistent, solid organization that displays class, ability, and discipline. They lack the bull at ude of so many other NBA franchises. They accept their losses with dignity and acknowledge their opponent's ability and play, and don't needlessly gloat when they win.

I honestly don't see how I could support any other team.

    Haha.

The Mavs don't understand. It's a lot like Mississippi schools are to Arkansas. They want to be us, are jealous of us, hate us, but without us would have no point existing.

Holy , are you kidding? Mississippi schools all over Arkansas schools.

There is rumors he is going to Ole Miss. But he won't. He loves Arkansas. He is a Hog and he won't play us.
lmao yeah and how'd that work out?

I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder.

I was born a Spurs fan. I'm not sure if I can claim to be the biggest one in all of San Antonio, but here in Austin (I'm a sop re at UT and my attention to Spurs has most likely affected my grades), I don't know anyone that's as big of a fan, and I'm proud to spot a few people donning Spurs apparel when I'm on my way to classes. You can be sure that some of those people feel the same when they see me walking around in my Spurs shirts, jacket, or jersey.

Someone posted how they hate bandwaggoners who don't really care if the Spurs lose, but as long as they're out there going to games, I still don't mind them giving support.

I'm gonna open his hole like this. Please excuse my French. I'm gonna make him suffer. I'm gonna make his mother wish she never had him - make him into dog meat... He's a nice, a nice kid. He's a pretty kid, too. I mean I don't know, I gotta problem if I should him or fight him.

Before cable and before every Spurs game was broadcast locally, I would listen to Terry Stembridge on WOAI describing an Iceman finger roll like I was there. When I was lucky enough to attend the games back then, I remember the raucous crowds at the Hemisfair Arena. They were truly the loudest fans in the NBA. Nothing like it.

Spurs fan then, now and forever!
