he gave the team a little bit of an energy boost there.
I wasn't expecting to see him at all, I liked that hustle though! Got me excited! Hopefully he gets a lot more playing time in the 2nd half.
great start for Gooden, when they get their rotations right the Spurs will have great post options.
his energy seemed contagious. he did a lot of good things in that short span. if pop isn't stubborn, he starts the second half.
3 rebounds 2 points in about 2 and a half minutes. You do the math. Im happy. something to cheer about.
He looks good in a Spurs uniform! Who knows, hopefully he can throw off the LA defense.
Gooden in 5 mins has played better than Duncan + Parker already
Gooden can jump higher for a rebound than Bonner.
besides one hiccup on gasol, gooden didn't do bad defensively in his short stint.

get him some mins because he gives us the rebounding that we need and his hustle seems to energize the team.
I thought he looked great. Better than I expected in such a short amount of time. 2 points to go along with 4 rebounds. He was moving around good and looked better guarding Odom out at the 3 point line than Bonner ever showed.
It was frustrating that Pop never did put him back in the game.
I don't know if I'm for starting him because I think his energy off the bench to go along with Ginobli's would make for a killer 2nd unit.
I can see that happening. I'm not sure he'll log the minutes necessary to achieve that this season though.
His rebounding and versatility on offense is going to help a lot..
You could feel the subtle respect for him from L.A while he was in. They held with him when Tony drove, and they definetly didnt want to give up a dunk or short shot.
His mobility doesn't look 100% yet, but it can improve. He can clean up the glass which is something I felt comfortable with right away.
i believe come playoff time, he will start depending on the matchups.
