Tim is so much better than Gasol or Odom - I just can't understand why he seems so intimidated by them. And we know Bowen is a proven Kobe stopper - he should've been on him the whole game and worn him out.
I heard earlier in the broadcast that the Lakers are 11-3 on 2nd nights of a B2B - that's pretty impressive.
I still trust bowen guarding kobe more than hill... putting a rookie to guard one of the best players in the world isn't the smartest move to make late in a game.

I think Hill actually did a pretty good job on KObe.....Kobe just hit some amazing shots, Id take Hill on Kobe over Mason any in day.

Well, like I said before, at least it wasn't another ty team they played like crap against. This loss was to be expected,especially given the way they've been playing. Manu is not the excuse and neither is pop or the refs. This TEAM just kind of sucks still. Be happy the final score wasn't a 20+ deficit.
Good game! I don't think it shows that the lakers are "better", it does however show us what to look for come play-offs, better play calling and what line-up works. We'll see you again Kobe and co!

A win would've been nice, but considering how the game started, I'm not too dissapointed. If the Spurs hadn't started off so slowly, or if they had made their FTs (reasonable expectation), we would've had a more positive ending (I think).
Edit: And as legendary as Duncan has been in his career, he's too damn soft around the basket. He gets hacked a lot, but that doesn't excuse the weak layups.

I'm happy the spurs came back. It just sucked that the spurs had the lead cut to 2 and they needed a stop and pop put hill in to guard kobe... The spurs played hard to come back and pop ruined it.
