Green deserves Georges minutes to me not Wrights, although George DNP tonight.
Wright is actually one of our best players in the limited minutes he gets. He typically starts and puts up a solid 6 or 7 point first quarter playing good d before he goes to the bench for the majority of the game, and finishes with like 18 minutes. I'd be willing to bet that Wrights per 48 minute stats are some of the best on the team. Not to mention he's our best perimeter defender.

It seems like George gets so many great looks at 3's and yet only converts 28% on da year.
If it was in the mid 30's he'd be a far more tolerable player to me.
If he didn't shoot any 3's at all or step onto the court I too could tolerate him alot better too
if only the Mavs had a pure shooter on the floor instead of George it would make the game for so much easier for other..i.e. see Spurs. There is a reason why George gets so many open looks
bumping this thread because bag Wright has played garbage defense all game long, and he's bricking everything he throws up there. This guy has had a full season now to get his act together and he ing sucks. Get rid of his ass.

wouldnt it be nice to have a shooter on the weakside corner that could hit wide open 3's...if Wright isnt playing D, he is trash. Send Carroll to that corner and see if he can hit a shot...the combo of George and Wright is awful
The D George era in dallas is likely ove,r I think he's done for the year.
That is interesting, Wright does get plenty of decent looks at 3's but nails them at a low clip.
Green/Carroll might be better.
But they're all garbage shooting guards, an unfortunate roster we have indeed.

That dude is horrible...if he hits half his WIDE OPEN 3's the Mavs have a chance to win that game. No point give him minutes...he needs to be gone next year,
Wright gets advertised as a slasher/finisher....yet all he does is jack up 3's, and in the rare chance he does drive, it's a 50-50 chance he freaking misses the layup. His average defense gets touted as another strength.....but that's all he is....average at D. Sometimes flat out bad.
No NBA team can be successful with Antoine Wright as their starting 2-guard.
