That mean he's restricted? If so, maybe the Spurs should offer him an inflated contract to screw the Lakers over financially, ala Malik Rose?
Rasheed doesn't like teams that get all the calls from the refs.

You guys can keep the scrub we don't him.
Never heard of them, but the King Taco on Cesar Chavez is the , though it's hard not to go couple of blocks over to El Tepeyac instead when I'm in the area.
All the Spurs can offer is the mid-level exception, which:
1) LA would certainly match
2) LA would certainly wait the full week to try to keep the Spurs from using it on Rasheed or McDyess
Ariza will be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Lakers have no way to decide where he will go this summer.
LOL...this has been an entertaining morning read.
As far as Ariza goes, I seriously doubt the Spurs will waste their time. The Lakers will match whatever offer to keep him there and I think they will be more interested in someone like Wallace as he can probably be had for the MLE.
I'm thinking that the FA market may be a wasteland this summer. If I'm the owners looking to reign in cost I'd let it be known that the next CBA will have a hard cap and/or a really punitive luxury tax that's has no retroactive exceptions at least not post-Spring 2009. Something like hat happens and Lakers would be screwed on both Odom and Ariza.
We can do better than Ariza. I don't think he's really Spur material (character?). Just my opinion. Of course, if you want to trade Ariza for Bonner-we'll take it![]()
+ the integral of 5x from 1 to 1 plus +1
in other words, +1![]()
Lotta Spurs fan angst in here.
Don't cry just because your favorite team's window is closing. Have fun watching the Spurs get curb stomped in the post-season by the Lakers for the 5th time this decade.
Trevor Ariza has an offensive skill set that rivals Bruce Bowen's, while being half the defender. He can jump real high, though.
Keep him.
Without the ability to go over cap, pick up gifts like Gasol, or sign away other team's players like Shaq, basically buy an extra impact player, enjoy the end of your run.
5 pages for this line: "...I’d favor the Spurs consideration of Ariza as an MLE candidate this offseason. But I’ll save that for another time."
It's a throwaway line that probably should have been edited out. The line doesn't even rise to the level of thoughtful speculation. It's simply a gut reaction to the Lakers defense of Parker. Everyone should move along.
Yup. It's the Western Conference curse: if you KO the Spurs, you will fall short of the le.![]()
trevor just attempts more shot than bowen. bowen is smart enough to know not to attempt too many shots. ariza can't guard like bowen. he wouldn't be real useful.
Amen to that!!!
What is the relationship? Is that the same reason as the "odd" season thing?
Okay...DUMBASS.
This is called a logic tree.
I pointed out that I used to post at LG and win so often that I riled the inmates too much.
Then I pointed out that "YOU HAVE NO GAME."
Then I added to the point that your English skills are truly lacking and said that here in San Diego these basic skills are taught and that I worry for the students in the LA Unified.
To wit, you responded 1 minute later that where is the LA Unified?
Then 23 minutes later, you FINALLY respond that the LA Unified is a School District. Nice but SLOW use of a search engine. I'm sure like everything you do...you just GOOGLED it.
To which you respond with this quote:
So, why is it that you think I'm a teacher in the LA Unified School District? If this logic is what you use daily to "put 2 and 2 together" then I worry for your family. I am not a school teacher nor do I live in LA. I do, on a regular basis...take LAL fans to School by showing them that the Lakers haven't had enough to win a le. I've been correct now for 7 straight years. I'm angling for an 8th consecutive one.ur a ing dumbass i asked what school you work for in the LA unified school distrcit are you that ing dense that you cant put 2 and 2 together...
Now using the logic tree I've laid out...truly, it's obvious to us all who is truly the dumbass...DUMBASS.
You know you're a loser when your own kind even thinks you are...OBSERVE.
I'd add you to my ignore list but truthfully, it's too much fun to point out your lack of insight.aka_USAPA

Default Re: trevor ariza to the spurs????
Dude is lost. Anyways, moving on.
Totally agree![]()
Seeing as Udoka is probably gone after this year, and Bowen and Finley have 1 year left.....if we were able to get Ariza, I would go for it. I mean, he has shown that he is willing to commit on the defensive end. He has 3pt range and will attack the basket too.
However, I doubt he leaves LA.....and even if he does, I doubt he lands here in SA.....he will go somewhere where he can start.
why would he ?
he wants to play where would he on lakers
Though I wholeheartedly agree with those who have said the Fakers will do everything to keep Ariza, I don't why the Spurs wouldn't be interested in a player of his size and skill set. Obviously, they don't have a young, 6'8" SF who can defend and shoot the occasional 3-ball. They've needed one for about 5 years now. Had they been able to obtain Nic Batum, the problem would've been solved. Since they didn't, Ariza wouldn't be a bad get.

If Ariza enjoys beating the Spurs in the playoffs more often than not, only to lose in the finals, then he's on the right team. I guess that's something to be proud of.
