i would love to see the mavs not even make the playoffs so all the mark cuban lickers will finally take their bull somewhere else. if they do make the playoffs i guess it will still be funny to see them get knocked out 1st round. but even after that they will still prolly pull another excuse out of they ass

What's your point? Odom will be guarding Dirk. He has had some favorable defensive games against Dirk in the past.
Well considering the way Odumb's been playing lately after having that stretch were he was a beast, Dirk will probably have a big day against him.
Well when Dirk is feeling it no in the league can really guard him. I'm just saying, Odom matches up well with Dirk in general. Quick enough to guard him on the perimeter and long enough to get a hand in his face consistently.
Odom, Haslem, and anyone else who is allowed by ref to play the new "Dirk stopping defense" we've been seeing lately are the ones who give Dirk the most trouble. And by "Dirk stopping defense," I mean getting up under him and bodying him up so you have a leverage advantage and constantly pushing him away from the rim and slapping wildly, without getting called for your antics. Teams have been doing this alot lately, if anyone else has noticed. Haslem invented this tactic, although no one else duplicates it correctly and just looks like that fouling bag that we all hate at your local YMCA or park.

The only problem Dallas will give the Lakers is deciding what to do with the free time they'll have before the second round starts.
lakers suck everytime they face the "suns", so they're gonna suck in the afternoon when the sun still will be in sky.
Dallas will keep it close for 3 quarters, then when it's time to get serious, the Lakers will go on their usual 15-0 run and win by 20.
Just like the last 4 or 5 times the Mavs have played in LA...whether it be Kidd missing a free throw or Bass not blocking out Odom or Kobe being guarded by Stack 1 on 1 so he can take over in the 4th
It is what it is. The Lakers are a better team and always take it to a gear we can't match. They do it v everyone in the league and we obviously are no different.
I'm surprised they haven't blown us out in any of the last 5 games.
Just hoping for a good game, I'm content with the road trip given the cir stances anyway (we suck, 2-2 on this road trip is good for us).
Ariza was a big x-factor in the first 2 games and Dirk was quiet both times.
J-How was out both times as well.
Guys in blues' bench contributions are what allowed the first 2 games to be close, which is surprising. kidd has 2 great games.
