Nup. The starting unit doesn't need his scoring, the bench does.
    ftw.

Lets celebrate the Bulls victory over the Hornets.
That's worth celebrating. The Horneets should be embarrassed to be ran out of the gym by the Bulls.

I completely agree that Gooden shouldn't be starting, but I think that Kurt should..Gooden and Bonner should be our sparks on offense with Manu..having Manu, Gooden and Bonner off the bench for offense is a solid option when we need a scoring punch..

I'm pretty pumped. When we get Manu back we will have a of a bench offense. Keep the starting unit the same and let Tony and Tim do their thing, then you come off the bench with Gooden and Manu.

Too many times Manu gets bogged down playing with a second unit if both TP and Tim are on the bench. You pair him with Gooden and suddenly you have another big who score and operate on the low block that can take some defensive attention off Manu.

if bonner is not hitting his shots and spacing the floor, then there is no reason he should be out there.

    put thomas in.

As long as Gooden knows his place and gives Manu space to drive, I think we'll be fine.

Man Manu and Gooden would make a of a screen and roll combo off the bench

Gooden's doing good, seems like it.
Better than expected in only his second game, 13 pts, 4 reb.

However, I can see Gooden ending some games over Bonner due to his superior rebounding. If we don't need 3s at the end, I'll take Gooden over Bonner to crash teh boards.

Bonne will and should remain the starter though - he plays a totally different game from Tim, spaces the floor on offence, and can be effective on D/boards depending on matchups. If you want to start someone else next to Tim, it should be KT.
