Rockets are just extremely hot recently, but the high tempreture will also make the rockets explode in the first round of postseason like the past two years. It's the rockets' fate to get dismantled in the blue sky.
Whatever you say Nostrodamus...either way I'm happy we got this road victory tonight.

    Great analysis as usual Rogue.
    thanks

But I don't want to waste too much time on scrub teams like rockets, so I won't make more analysis for the red rockets though I really appreciate your compliment which is as good as .

I thought when we had the 8-0 to start the 3rd and give us an 11 point lead, the game was ours. After that, we got dismantled. Very disappointing loss. Even with Yao, this loss would have been painful at home. We needed this game and we lost it.

the hornets remind me of our 04-05 team, the starters were really GOOD. But our bench sucked ass. Without a question, the Hornets starters were eons better than ours but our bench kept us in the game

This is what happens when you let Bonzi Wells, Brandon Bass, Birdman Andersen, and Pargo go away for nothing.

Hornets are good. Last year they were compared to the Spurs in the way they were constructed. Gave the Spurs a really good tough series too. Announcers said they were a year or two away from being at the Spurs level. If Chandler were playing like last year this would have been a lot closer. Good game tonight.

Well you can still go and get Bonzi Wells off the waiver wires.

    Hornets starting 5 is good?

They only have 1 good player in their starting 5.

What did Chandler/West/Butler/Wright do tonight? Nothing.

Well losing Pargo certainly didn't help things. In fact, I can't figure out why the Hornets just let him go.

Julian Wright has A LOT of potential. From all the hornets games i watched last year he came up big, chandler is a solid defensive big man, west is an all star and Rasoul Butler has been on fire as of late in place of Peja, one of the best 3pt shooters of all time

with a fully healthy squad, the Super Hornets lost a home game by 11 points to the houston rockets that were short of their two franchise players in yao and tmac who occupy nearly 30m of salary space in combination. Isn't it kind of stuff that makes yao's value debatable?

Adleman's gimmick offense doesn't need stars. Just guys that can move and get open and shoot the ball.

Rockets have played well the last two seasons without Yao. Mutombo filled in well in the past. But that's when McGrady was playing lights out. He was a MVP candidate in the 2006-2007 season.

60 million. So yea...i think our starters tonight earned about 11 millions a year combined.

Scola is to thank for the victory just such an amazing bargain for the money.

    A solid 14/14 effort

tmac deserves the 23m dollars that he takes every year from his team though he is already wasted. I mean tmac wouldn't have been wasted at such a young age if tmac hadn't been traded to the rockets. the tragedy of tmac is absolutely the composement by some fake rockets fans who has joined in the rockets' bandwagon since yao was drafted in 02. tmac deserves the compensation.

That's one way of spinning it.

Another way of spinning it is Wright is a 21 YO TO prone scrub. Chandler has no offensive game whatsoever and is an offensive blackhole, David WEst is an undersized PF who didn't deserve his AS nomination and vanishes against good teams, and Butler is just having a fluke jump shooting stretch but overall is abelow average 2 guard.

    Hornets blow.

Tell us something we don't know already, T-Mac is a gimp and Yao is soft at times, what's new? I'm not even gonna comment on the Mavs or your lack of intelligent posts in this thread.

Even with 36m cap dedicated to Yao and Knee-Mac/T-Slack, we have a decently solid team because Morey "The Magician" always sign cheap players.

    Teflon Don Battier - 6,373,900
    Tru Warior Artest - 8,450,000
Luis Scola - 3,142,800 [Thank you Spurs for providing us with a cheap and decent/efficient PF]
Carl "The Tooth" Landry - 3,000,000

Everyone else makes less than 2,000,000 a year.
