    he wanted a layup
last play he had a layup

    a layup is a better % then a three
The refs were letting the Thunder play physical and get away with fouls. Even if TP didn't stumble and get to the rack he might have been fouled with no call.

A better play would have been to draw up a play for a clean shot from one of the shooters.

I am pissed and cant come up with any other words to describe the travesty in OKC. The only word that comes to mind is borderline
    pathetic.

What I find funny his that I saw some posts in here saying "WE need Manu" "If only Manu was there" "I miss Manu.

Man, sorry to say but if we truly need Manu (which we shouldn't) to beat the OKC Thunders then we are in serious trouble.

This lose was pathetic, our team has no excuses to have lost this one.
I was speaking in snark code when I said it.

    I was joking/being sarcastic.

We should not have needed Manu to beat the OKC Thunder.

This was unexcusable. We lost this due to lack of focus, turnovers and poor subs uting. It had nothing to do with Manu.

Good thing is at least New Orleans lost tonight....so the closest team's to us...Portland, Denver, Houston, and New Orleans all have 25 losses, we have 22. We are still in the driver's seat.
How are we in the drivers seat when we're losing to team like OKC.

We gotta step UP NOW and PLAY TOUGH. That lead isn't if we keep playing like punks. Everyone needs to have a good hard long look at themselves and start playing playing hard against all teams.

I'm sorry but Pop needs to STOP NOW with his dumb ass rotation experiments and everything....I mean come on.....Mason at back-up point-NO! Udoka>Bowen= NO! Bonner > Thomas or Gooden in crunch time? NO! This team can be the absolute I know and feel it in my heart, but Pop continues to play some wack ass lineups and its costing us

Okay we're all pissed. But even the Lakers lost to OKC. Get a grip. It happens. Better to this team than against our true rivals. They had a ty night. It's over. Back to business tomorrow.

They should be motivated to play tomorrow!

    Hopefully, they will play better.

It's not just the bad 3 point shooting either.

It was the turnovers, a serious indication of lack of focus, that cost us this game.

i dont mind the loss, but i do mind that last shot.

We hadnt been making jumpers all night. So Tony shoots 2 of them for our last possession? Why not drive and try to at least get to the line?

For someone who has been in the league for several years, has rings, a few all-star appearances, and a finals MVP, TP sure does make some boneheaded decisions at crucial times of the game.

BTW, we lost by 2, but missed like 3 FTs in a final minutes of the game.

I'm going tomorrow too. I think we'll see a win too. I'm looking forward to seeing Gooden in play in person. Actually, I take that back. Gave my tickets away to the damn cable guy, my spouse has a meeting and we can't go. I forgot.

Whst I don't understand is, how the do you hold a team to 35% shooting and STILL lose?

We really need Duncan to be 100% in order to dominate games again..... Parker can only do so much! POP should start Gooden to play along side Tmmy from now on, Parker should set some plays for Gooden aswell

    Our Starters should be:

    Parker
    Mason
    Bowen
    Gooden
    Duncan

it happens..unorthodox turnovers, bad decisions, poor coaching, Duncan letting the refs get in his head, team falling asleep vs. a bad team..

we just beat Houston, like you said..so clearly it's nothing to be worried about..
