who?
In the lower leg. Flesh wound. He is out of the hospital and should be alright, but will be out for who knows when. Said to be gang related. the shooter.
This is so ing typical. Our sixth man of the year just got shot a month before the playoffs. ING SHOT?! Are you kidding me.
Where did he get shot? Why was he out so late? The just arrived from New Orleans. This doesn't make any sense.
it's just the basketball world setting up for another Rockets exit in the first round of the playoffs. It's called a curse
I really hope you are still active on this forum after next season. Gonna be so much fun!
Sounds pretty minor - doubt he'll miss more than a week or two.

HOUSTON—Houston Rockets forward Carl Landry was shot in the leg early Tuesday morning, a team spokesman said.
Rockets Director of Media Relations Nelson Luis said Landry had just flown in from New Orleans and was going to get a bite to eat when he was shot.
It happened around 1:30 a.m.
Luis said Landry was in his car when the bullet grazed his lower leg.
He was treated for a flesh wound and released from Memorial Hermann hospital.
It was unclear how many games Landry might miss as a result of the injury, but Luis said he definitely wouldn’t play Wednesday night.
It was Chris Paul who shot him. He was pissed after Landry blocked the out of his shot yesterday.
It was 1:30 AM and I guess Landry was craving chicken.
You will find plenty of NBA players eating at times like that when they get home from a road game.
first injuries, now players are getting shot.....
Tells you how ed up society is when you are just going to get some food and this type of happens.
is that when you guys plan on making it to the 2nd round?
He'll only be out 1-2 weeks according to the Chron. I guess it's time for James White to get more playing time.
Don't change, I want to remember you just like this.
is this the James White they signed?

Probably some thugs from new orleans mad about the loss
I thought all the New Orleans thugs moved to Houston after Katrina
Hope it didn't cause any permanent damage. Man this is messed up. Landry cannot get a break.
