Well the next time a gay or lesbian couple can have sex with each other and 9 months later produce a baby, I'll agree that they deserve the same rights.

Until every single straight couple gets married with the explicit intention of procreation, don't even bother with this point.

Marriage by definition requires three parties...a couple and a third person recognized by the state as having the legal right to perform marriages.

Legalizing same sex marriage would deny that third person the right to refuse to perform the ceremony because of their personal moral convictions and they would be subject to civil and criminal prosecution.

That's not right.

The church currently does not have to marry anyone they don't want to.

The gay couple could try to sue, but they would lose.......the same way gay kids have lost in court when they get kicked out religious private schools.

To an extent, I do. Marriage laws as they exist now do not allow anyone to marry whoever they want. The restriction that you can only marry someone of the opposite sex....gay, straight, black, white....the rule is the same for everyone. So, yes, everyone has equal rights.
