The Rockets will win the division, no doubt in my mind...
I'm going to say its highly unlikely. I can't really see the spurs losing again...but here is what it would take:
45-23
46-25
If the rockets beat the spurs tommorrow then it would be:
45-24
47-25
Technically the spurs would have to lose 2 more times after that because the spurs hold the tiebreaker. Again, i don't really see the spurs doing that especially with Many Ginobili returning
The Rockets will win the division, no doubt in my mind...
well at least this laker fan agrees.
They play Utah at their place and the Lakers at their place. I think the rockets the rockets have had fluky stretches i want to believe in this team but ijust can't.
I guess anybody that doesn't think the Spurs are the best team in the league is considered a "Laker Fan"...so be it. I love the Spurs but this game is a killer that I don't see a recovery from. If that makes me a "Laker Fan", then oh well...
not a chance, really.. we get manu back next week. spurs will finish 1st.
Damn, three former spurs to be back in town on sunday...James White, Luis Scola, Brent Barry
yeah man you are a die hard spurs fan
Yeah man, you really know me well enough to make that call. I've probably been a Spurs fan longer than you've been alive. It's cool though, I don't need your permission to root for my team or to call them out for disgusting me tonight...congrats on quoting my posts.![]()
You obviously don't understand the Spurs at all. They never dwell on like this for more than the time it takes to leave the locker room.
I could just as easily say that the HOME loss to SA was a crushing defeat to Houston from which they will never recover.
People, the only number to look at is the loss column. Houston can't ever get those back, even though they've played more games. We've been consistently 2-3 games ahead of the pack there for weeks. We still are.
i cant even imagine your reactions after 2004 and 2006 with the way you overreact to these regular season games. stay healthy my man![]()
I don't recall the Spurs blowing a game like this going into the stretch run of the season. It would be nice if they could just forget it and move on though...
Call outs from work the next day...it wasn't pretty. At least in those games, the Spurs were playing at a high level and lost on fluke plays...not just a mental collapse at the FT line in the last minute.
we have to beat houston sunday or we leave the door wide open. there will be plenty more losses.
Not my team, but the Rockets will take the second seed and the division..
Live with it SOB's
Well, the Hornets won the division last year and we took them out.
Although I'd like to finish at least 3rd in the standings, if the Spurs are healthy and somewhat cohesive (which tends to link with health) I'll feel pretty good about our chances.
haha im with you on that one man. but i do remember a certain argentine having a mental collapse in 2006. we can both agree that the spurs arent playing that well right now. i just think they can recover before the playoffs and can make a run.
your rockets team will never get the second seed you dumbass, though the rockets will have a big chance to gain the 2nd draft pick in the following 2 or 3 seasons.
Again, not my team, stubborn mfs, the rockets will be in second place as soon as this Sunday
Whatever you say, louis...
your vcash also reflects the value of yourself dumbass.
It is called Spurstalk cash now. Can I buy a championship?
I really don't care that much about the seedings.
