Classic.
shouldn't you be rubbing your right about now?
Classic.
And worse yet, a pimp wannabe.
WRONG. The Spurs will be favorites ONLY after they defeat the Lakers in the playoffs. Sad but true.
You should add the posts he has with his other handles . . .
dont worry, i am, jaffies.
these losses annoyed me, as they did everybody..but it really doesn't make sense to me how some people are so down on our season when we just lost 2 games by 1 possession vs. solid teams, without 1/3 of our system..one of the games lost because of something that you'll never see in an NBA game again..
Exactly..I'm really sick of this too. It's not like Houston and Boston are scrubs. I mean..come on. Defending champs and a scrappy team. We fought hard without Manu and played well. Sure, we missed a couple of clutch shots. But damn..we can't make EVERY clutch shot. Some will miss. I look forward to getting Manu back, and getting in the playoffs, no matter what our seed is, though I still believe we'll have the 2 seed by the end of the week.
Really? What about the D? 6 weeks ago it was a shade of what it is now.
Sure, our shooting has gone to , but that happens, and it will recover. Better we hit this slump now than in May.
Also, weren't we something like 11-4 in close games before these two losses? We were due a couple of stingers.
If there's anything to worry about it's Tim - he's at about 60% right now, and that won't get us to a trophy. I can't figure out why Pop isn't playing more Gooden and calling 4-down for him - guy can score, and that might take some load off TD.
Realistically (when you stop drinking the "CIA-Pop-kool-aid") the Spurs need HCA until the WCF, so wins/losses matter lots right now. Anybody who knows anything knows that.
This isn't the beginning or middle of the regular season either. The playoffs are about 3 weeks away. The idea is to play your best brand of basketball as you streak toward the playoffs. This team is not there yet - not even close, for a variety of reasons. It's not panic time, but the team is limping badly. Thus the cause for concern among the faithful. Nothing wrong with fans expressing their concern.
Besides, Pop doesn't have the ability to simply "snap his fingers" and all will be right with the world.
It's not...... subtract a million from his total. Thats his real post count. Common sense and fifth grade math should have told you that.![]()
Oh man this "Marcus Bryant" is a legend no
According to Spurstalk, the Spurs are now worse than the Kings obviously.
Apparently that's in short supply on these internets.
I'm waiting for Sequ to complain about cussing in the thread le.
The Spurs will be fine. Everybody just needs to chill the out. It's like Sean said today, you can only go so far without one of your best players...then teams will start adjusting to how you are playing without that one player. Manu is coming back this week, most likely against the Clips Friday. After that no one will be ing around here...the Spurs know what its about..April, May, June...
All I know is, I've only seen the Spurs play in person 5 times. They've only won once, and that was the only game Manu played in...
It was also the only game against the T-wolves, but I digress.
This is a good thing, happens every year as you know. Usually makes the bandwagoners and moaners go away, I see this as the first really positive thing during the year when the playoff are near and people are jumping off the cliffs. Soon the types of threads asking for Pop's head and trading Tony, Manu and Tim will disappear and the real season will begin.
Marcus Bryant is compe ion to Cinnabon at the plaza/mall in Victoria Texas.

This team has regressed, nothing wrong with posters calling them out for poor play offensively, questionable coaching decisions and dropping in the standings.
They'll be fine. I'll be the first to admit they've choked lately, but they WILL BE FINE. I don't see why some people on here freak out after a loss. Sure, it messed up their seeding(for now), but I honestly don't think that matters for the Spurs.
Stay away from Spurs games then you ninny, or blood is on your hands.
Although Boston is injury bit too.. and the Rockets have lost a Star player for the season and traded away their Starting Point guard...
So when it came down to strength of their teams they were even when it came down to available personnel and the Spurs fell short against both..
TP failing and TD failing with the games on the line. Of course games don't come down to the last play as the sole reason for the outcome, but for them to have happened like doesn't advance the Spurs to get where they need to be.
Spurs are running out of time to get it together.
Did you know mouse was the first person to use a quote in a sig back in 96-97 era true story,
