you know they traded rudy gay right?
I was just thinking, that Scola, Lowry, Landry, Brooks, and Wafer were all steals.
Scola brings toughness, scrapiness, hustle, and determination on every play. Scola should be up for most improved player of the year.
Lowry brings excellent defense, and is only 22. He already seems to be an excellent playmaker, and can score whenever he wants.
Landry is a beast on the boards, and has developed a mid-range game.
Brooks is still an unfinished product, but still has the potential to be an all star. All he has to do on the offensive side of the ball is to shoot the ball with confidence, and move the ball effectively.
Wafer is a shot in the arm for the team, bringing tenacity when driving to the basket, but needs work on his defense.
you know they traded rudy gay right?
That was a bonehead move. Just imagine what this team would be if they didn't.![]()
I had no problem with the Rudy trade and still don't.
That trade wasn't that bad, they got Shane Battier in return. I know this sounds extremely unoriginal but you can never have enough Shane Battiers on your team.
Not as bad as the charlotte hornets traded away Kobe
You didn't scout Scola, you idiot
Spurs did; we just gave him away to you
Yeah right
He's better than any wing currently on the Rockets.
While the Pistons, SuperSonics, Cavaliers and Rockets vied to get Scola's draft rights from the Spurs, Adelman watched tape and was impressed enough with what he saw for Scola to become the Rockets' priority. "I've watched him on tape a lot," Adelman said. "I just think he is a very active player, plays every possession hard. He passes the ball well. I just like the activity more than anything else.
The Lakers had great scouts back in the mid 90s when they traded for Shaq.
Rockets fans are cuties.
"Their" team hasn't won a single playoff series for more than a decade and they are happy of "their" team. I guess a 22 games win stretch and T-Mac 13 points in 35 seconds are enough to please them.
Spurs traded away Scola? are you sure?
Our rights
You keep ridin' that high horse Spur fan, but the truth is your team will keep losing to Lakers every year until the big three retire.![]()
our big 3 have alread beat the lakers in the playoffs![]()
Really? no ?I'm talkin' about the Kobe-Lakers, not the Kobe/Shaq Lakers smart guy.
It's a close call between him and Artest, but I think your right because of Artest's personality.
we'll say that then don't act like we have never beat the lakers
at least we get to them in the playoffs![]()
I didn't. You just assumed I meant it that way.
No, I'm serious......with Battier, Houston is always a great defensive team.....I mean I know you being a Allas fan you know nothing about defense, but I care about it.
Rudy Gay puts up empty #s on a bad team.....his #s don't make his team any better. Sorry, again like I said earlier......I liked the trade and still do. Would it be better to have Rudy Gay for the future, most likely, but Houston isn't really built for the future.....Yao only has a couple of more prime years left.
BTW...Ron Artest > than Rudy Gay, he makes more of a impact on the court.

What personality.....a great will to win, being the leader of this team, and working his ass off on both ends of the court every game out? Ron gets a bad rap.
Woooooah dude, some 2002 circa smack up in this ! If you're gonna run that weak , at leat do it right, you ing got.
Artest brings toughness, which rudy does not
Because he's an idiot.
