Definitely. I agree Adelman deserves to be in the talks. I vote Popovich.
Uh? Sloan loses Deron for a month and then plays him on a bad wheel for another two. Loses Boozer (which screwed our depth if nothing else). Loses AK for 3 weeks. And you don't even mention him in your little poll there? I'm not even saying he should win it, but c'mon, I understand the Rockets fans are generally butt-hurt, but it's a blatant slap in the face to not even put his name up there.
Depending on how the Spurs end up I might be inclined to give it to Pop.
if charlotte makes the playoffs larry brown deserves it.
Mike Brown has to get some credit for having the best record in the league.
+1. More than someone else, I'm not sure, but he's done a good job. I though Bernie Bickerstaff could've gotten it a couple years back. His teams sucked, but they were talentless, scrapped like and even as bad as they were, over-achieved immensely.
I'd pick Jerry Sloan except he's white.
Van Gundy, nobody expected the Magic to be this good. I didn't at least
My vote goes to Rick Adelman. I didn't expect them to even make the playoffs this year, and I was way off. He's got his team playing better than I think they should be playing.
Pop, without being biased
Considering all the injuries and the compe ive Western Conference, he deserves it
Seriously? Or is that somehow a shot at people who live in Utah. If not, cool, I'm all for hooking up a brother. If so, when did you turn into one of the low class dregs who assumes we're all racists?
I'm making a joke specifically for you man. I saw how you overreacted to my joke about Brevin Knight and Dragic last night. Just pushing your buttons. You're too sensitive.
If you were some liberal ass pothead, would you like being called a racist or mormon 15 times a day for a year straight? I'm sure I am overly sensitive, but enough is ing enough already. It's starting to get real old.
Last time was actually the first time I can remember on this site implying anything about Utah Jazz fans being racist. And, my post last night wasn't directed or responding to you. So I found you response to it rather amusing.
I've been called a lot of things in my life because of my ethnicity and how I look. I'm pretty good about not overreacting to jokes.
I voted for Adelman but Pop was an extremely close second.
Well, I'm not saying you're a repeat offender and I'm sorry for reacting, but you called me overly sensitive, so no apologies, but if I'm overly sensitive, the sheer amount of blatantly untrue I take, daily, is the reason why.
And if race based jokes roll off your back, cool, I guess you're more personally tolerant of intolerance than I am.
Sorry. /thread jack.
1. Jerry Sloan
2. Ron Jeremy
3. Popazit
err no Sloan shouldn't win it. Please tell me why anyone not named PJ, SVG, or Pop should win it
At the beginning of the season there were a lot of critics who felt the Rockets would come out of the West or at the very least push the Lakers into a tough series.
Last year, the Rockets went on a 22 game win streak, mostly without Yao Ming.
Adelman has done well this year, but the entire Western conference has been hit hard with the injury bug. I don't think he quite deserves COY.
I appreciate how much Pop has done with SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO little. That will instantaniously warrant COY consideration.
Soooo little?
You mean the 2nd best PF in the game, a top 3 point guard, and a deep bench is so little?
