I still think it will be 3 games maybe 4 if Rockets beat them, im not really worried about the suns, i would rather jump to 7th. If the Suns do catch the Mavs then the mavs have no business in the playoffs

Seems like nobody wants the 8 seed and would rather take an early vacation than have to play the Lakers. Everytime the Suns or Mavs have a chance to capitalize and get closer to the 8 seed, they lose.

Significant trades? JHo needed to be gone for one. You can argue if his value was too low the offseason, but at least by the trade deadline this season. Then there's the whole issue of how long he's going to ride an aging Dirk before he realizes that his value is only going down.

Cuban's done a great job ever since he took over the Mavs. Seriously, the Mavs were struggling for years before he took over. Honestly, he built a championship in 2006. He's been a really good owner for the Mavs.

Yeah no he wants to improve the team. Good intentions doesn't absolve someone from doing nothing since the 06 finals meltdown and letting the team get older and worse. And despite how Kidd may or may not be playing, all of New Jersey still has a shrine built for Cuban for that trade to this day.
