Thanks for helping these guys, assholes.

You had no impact on saving mother earth. You were used to allow select men to gain control over everyone.

    Feel proud of yourself?

This is pablum for the converted.

It combines a couple things that "conservatives" love to hate, the UN and the Global Warming theory, and allows Fox "news" readers to feel outraged about something completely meaningless. A strawman upon which to pour vitriol.

What the are you talking about Chump!?

You let Al ing Gore scare you little idiots into thinking man was about to annihilate the earth, the seas would rise and destroy everything, 200* temps were around the corner, etc.

You have too much pride just like RG to admit you fools got duped.

Scaring ourselves. What a ing joke. We can clearly see agendas of those who which to grab more power. This is the ridiculous part. All of this is right in front of everyone, but guys like RG and Chump (who are relatively intelligent) still refuse to open their eyes.

This is the source of power for those running things. Until you awesome guys can admit to yourselves that your good intentions are being used for elites to gain more control, you will never advance your political beliefs.

As you continue this same line of thinking Chump, "scared" is not the correct word. Man should not be scared of that which he cannot control. My reaction is usually just to laugh for a sec and shake my head in disgust. Global Taxes, Global currency, Global government is just the next evolution for civilization on this planet due to technology. That's keeping it real. Real Americans don't have to like it though.

If you were actually halfway accurate in depicting my beliefs I might bother with a longer response.

As it is, this rather ham-handed strawman attack is not really worth responding to at length.

I am for risk-mitigation, and that doesn’t include being “scared” about anything, merely prudently managing known risks. It makes you feel better about your own beliefs if you can think that you are somehow more incisive and can “see through” what is happening. Who am I to burst your bubble?

You are beginning to sound like a 9-11 truther. They think that they are the ones who are “seeing through” the lies of “the elite” too.

They use the same kind of emotional arguments, the same logical fallacies, the same tactics.

Congratulations, we have found your peer group.

    "Taxing the out of energy"

Americans, a childish society run by self-serving plutocratic, kleptocratic bas s and living on false wealth, refuse to do anything unless it saves or costs them money.

So taxing energy consumption to reflect its true costs is the only way to get Americans to stop acting like greedy "gimme, it's MINE" 2-year-olds.

The childish Americans would still be free to vote the energy-taxing legislators out of office, and they probably would, and then continue on the path to self-destruction.

    Ok, I'll bite.

Who are "the elites", what power are they grabbing, and for what purpose?

    Who are "they"?
    What is "their" plan?
Where are "they" plotting to do this?
    Why are "they" doing it?
    How are "they" doing it?

Flesh out this theory of yours, so we can be as illuminated as you are.

Rampant materialism is no way to run a country. I agree. Such shallow, amoral thinking is very short-sighted.

So you're saying that you're endorsing millions of American jobs moving to other countries and our standard of living coming down due to rules put in place by a coalition of nations who hates us for our way of life?

I don't want to hear you ing when you're making $18K a year flipping burgers at McDonald's if that's the case...

your own standard of living. I will continue working hard to keep mine up and going higher

These amerikans who have this guilt are so pathetic. They think they are actually doing something good, yet the truth is they are just being played by the government to make it easier for them to control everyone.

How I would have loved to hit my prime when this country still believed in people earning great things for themselves without feeling this ing ridiculous guilt for reaching success.

As is usually the case, most conservatives can not see outside of their box. Everything has to do with 'fear' with them, whether it's fear of terrorists, fear of brown people, or fear of evil atheists

They can't imagine other people choose their political sides based on anything but.

I guess it's the liberal way to ignore anything in front of them that they don't want to believe. The UN has put it in writing what they'd like to do and are talking about 3/4 trillion dollar taxes on carbon fuels, capping what a country can produce in a year (meaning jobs will move overseas to 'balance' things out, etc.)....

Are you guys saying you're excited about those ideas?

LOL at croutons, my way of life is in good shape, just trying to look out for the ol' US of A.
