just imagine if Danny Ferry pull the trigger at the break and traded Wally and Sasha for Shaq...wouldn't even be fair right now
I don't think anyone expected them to be this good this season. Lebron has played an MVP season and the Cavs are looking like the team to beat in the EC. Their home record is astounding.
Congrats Lebron and co. for bringing some dignity to a previously worthless and laughable franchise![]()

They will win it all.
Not really. All they beat was the hapless mavs. No big deal.
Mavs choked.
Yes, the Cavs were too much to swallow for the hapless mavs![]()
I don't think it would work. Shaq would get in James' way the same way Ewing used hurt his own Knicks teams in the late 90s (Pretty much the only time Ewing was useful to those teams was when they brought him out to make Mourning himself in those series with Miami).
cavs are still weak against elite teams. that remains an issue. give them credit they never lose to scrub teams but lose to elites, unlike lakers who beat elite teams and lose to scrubs
Yeah the Ewing-Mourning gay relationship really got into Zo's head.
i always give Cleveland props for trying so hard. They give 110% everytime & dont sleepwalk through games. Even though they havent done so well vs. the best teams, they're still most likely to get the best record in the league. Much props, I just wish the freakin Lakers would just realize that every game is supoosed to be played for a full 48 minutes. None of this bull , "It's ok, we'll just play hard in the 2nd half" crap. Phil Jackson is coaching like he's already back in LA chilln on the beach.Must be amazing feeling getting a million dollars a month to chill on the bench & whistle a few times
Yep..they'll win the whole Eastern Conference.
if cavs end up with the best record in the league, they will win it all.
They aren't that good. In the EC you can substract about 10 from the win column and add 10 to the loss column if they're a WC team. That makes it 50-23 in the West.
, They're 25-4 against the West ,with two of those loses coming from the Lakers.
Don't mind that...SD knows his !!!![]()
You sure do!
If the Cavs truly need HCA throughout to win it all, they are in trouble. HCA is nice to have but you have to be able to win on the road. HCA helped Boston but when they were forced to win on the road, they did exactly that.
People thought the Jazz were the hand down favorites against the Bulls in the 1998 finals because they had homecourt. The Bulls were able to take 2 out of 3 in Utah. HCA helps but it only does so much. It doesnt cover up weaknesses etc etc.
