It was Tony!
Manu shoulda NEVER have attempted to foul Paul, Paul had clearly left the ground @ half court n Manu bailed'em out!
Look @ the fouls Spurs- 25 Hornets- 17!!!
It's the refs and the Spurs both, actually. They both suck, and neither one excuses the other.

It was very frustrating to watch us get back into the game at the end and then watch the refs give it away.
The referee had to know the Spurs would foul if they didn't get the steal. How can you pass on that foul on Paul in the backcourt? Any high school official would make that call. I am one, so I know. We are taught to get the foul quickly in that situation if we know a team has to foul if they don't get the steal. It's frustrating.
Come on people. CP said it after the game, you know the team is going to foul you so why not get 3 FT'S instead of 2 FT'S. We won fair and square, get over it. The refs didn't cost yall the game.
Good game, we will probably see each other again in the playoffs.
No matter what the opinion of the officiating tonight, what happened at the end was just wrong. They blew it. The intentional foul by Tony Parker in the backcourt was obvious. The refs know it's coming...not calling it is inexcuseable.
for doing what??
Who cares what Chris Paul said? His ears and head are still ed up after nate knock the wind outta him.
The 3 call was correct. Ref should not have passed on the clear foul in the backcourt. Paul was smart enough to draw contact and shoot the ball. It's not his fault that the call wasn't made in the backcourt. I still like the Spurs in a 7 game series.
Tim Duncan got a ton of bailout calls in the first half. NBA refereeing is just not very good, and watching the NCAA tournament has only solidified this for me.
Manu did the right thing it just happened to quick. I bet, even if threw the ball to the crowd, the refs would still give him 3 ft's. However, they made a big mistake on not fouling West and let him waste few seconds.
I just hate it when a game is decided by a ref's call.
The foul in the backcourt is a weak excuse. Not getting that foul in the backcourt is Tony and Finleys' fault for not grabbing that little bas . Wrap him up and you don't have to worry about it.
The whole exchange at the end was horse .
That being said, we deserved to lose this game.
No he's blind and stupid.
Wasn't that manu that fouled him in the backcourt before the three call? if not whoever it was after he was trapped by tony and finley
Ummmm yeah if your team was the one who had gotten screwed over then you would understand. Who in the right mind, down 1 point would want to foul the opposing team on a 3 pt attempt? NONE. The foul shouldve been called on the opposite side of the floor when TP fouled him but of course the refs didnt call it. Way to go New Orleans Ref...I mean Hornets.
This is a pussy thread, this loss was entirely on us.
I will say this much. Consistency of calls being made was way off.
Spurs in 5 or 6. I think the Hornets are somewhat not the same from last yrs team and we're better last year.
If we foul him like that he's gonna flop like crazy and it's going to be a flagrant foul.
This is like Barry last year, people said he should've "sold" the foul which means he should've flopped, which people about 24/7 and is now a fine in the NBA. What do you want us to do?
on this play, if ginoboli was going to foul him, shouldve fouled him hard like horry on nash... this i dont tolerate this flopping prick.
Exactly.
