You finally caught up now?

iirc, I thought the bullet didn't kill Locke because he was missing the kidney that he donated to his dad....
You finally caught up now?

they are lost in time now
apparently I missed an episod where Penny is killed????
WTF? which episode is that?
Ben aint dead.
Season 2 screwed everything up. I don't see how the writers tie everything up together, but I think they are doing a nice job trying.
Huh? We don't know for sure that Ben went to kill her, it's just our predictions. But it would make sense if Ben was trying to get Desmond to go back to the island also.
I think it's interesting that there are two people that we know that can see future events:
Desmond and Walt...
Desmond's ability seem to come from a weird scientific explosion where he lost his clothes.....
Walt's is more supernatural, and we have yet to see wtf Walt's role is in the whole thing.......which I bet will ultimately be lame.
We also have two people that can see ghosts: Miles and Hurley.
We might assume that Hurley is just crazy, but since Miles can see dead people, then we can infer that Hurley really does see dead people too.
We don't really have much on Miles' background, but my guess is that he is the son of the Dharma director that pops up in every instructional video.
what's odd is that these characters can use their abilities off the island, while Locke and that black lady (I forget her name) can apparently only heal when on the island.
I don't think Ben has the ability to heal, otherwise he would not have needed Jack to perform the brain surgery. I think Ben just gets lucky where the bullet hits him.

oh ok......
[spoiler: do not read further]
I googled it on wikilost and although I didn't open the link, it appears in the google summary underneath that Penny will be killed this season
Alpert isn't doing any time traveling. Otherwise he wouldn't be in the dark about a lot of the things happening.
I don't think he's a dead ghost like Christian. Also, he could be dead/ghost (ala Christian Shepherd, Claire(?)) that the island brought back to life. Or, with the god-mimicking science experiments going on the island, he could be a clone (ala the twins on the boat that took Walt).
I think he and Locke are both immortal when they stay on the island.
Um...keep in mind that Ben has appeared to be "in the dark" NUMEROUS times about things, yet always seems to know what's goin on. If BEN can stay up on things, why couldn't Richard "Superman" Alpert?
Maybe. I get the idea that Richard doesn't really care much about anything except for finding a leader for the Others, whereas Ben has a lot on his plate in which he has to stay up on things.
We seen a young Ben that appears to be living in line with his age.
We have seen Richard as a part of groups in different decades yet he looks the same age. Sawyer and Co have been in the 70s for three years and have actually aged 3 years.
He's also Broots from The Pretender.

This episode...beyond f'ing awesome!
I mean, they actually discussed the various theories/rules on time travel and wove it into the show itself!
Kate describing how her reason for coming back had absolutely nothing to do with Sawyer, and Sawyer saying how he was saving Ben "for her" (meaning Juliette). Jeebus, I can't tell you how long I've waited for that whole Kate/Sawyer thing to just be done. Seems like it's well on its way.
And how about the whole Alpert/Ben thing...so good! Think he went to get his mind tweaked by the smoke?
Alright I'm done being geeked about this episode...but damn it was good.
The 2004 Losties were in the dark about pretty much everything before they were time shifted to the 70's. Alpert had to have been in the dark at one time or another, most likely before traveling through time.
eh, maybe. there's nothing to suggest though that Alpert travels through time. By the looks of it from every time period, he appears entrenched in his position, even though his age looks the same.
ing Lost.
This episode was actually going places and then..........nothing.
Way to throw another filler episode to stretch this out another season.
Did anyone else not like what they did with Kate's character this episode? The love triangle is annoying enough, but now we find out about Aaron. She took him because she needed him to get over Sawyer?! A couple of episodes back she was super protective over Aaron, and all of a sudden she dumps him onto his grandmother and tells to her she's going back to "find Claire". Is that really her purpose.. or is it her love for Sawyer?
Probably came back for both, but it seems Sawyer is through with her...the comment about not being a good boyfriend was strong I thought.
Well...it was much better than the last two duds. I liked at the end when the others mentioned Ellie and Charles' names. Then Richard said that he doesn't answer to them. Next week's episode looks like it might be something special!!!
It's about time they talked about it.
I needed a tissue when Kate said good-bye to Aaron, regardless of why or who she took care of him for, it was a touching moment. And maybe she really is going back to find Claire.Kate describing how her reason for coming back had absolutely nothing to do with Sawyer, and Sawyer saying how he was saving Ben "for her" (meaning Juliette). Jeebus, I can't tell you how long I've waited for that whole Kate/Sawyer thing to just be done. Seems like it's well on its way.
Well he did take him to the temple. And how about the whole Alpert/Ben thing...so good! Think he went to get his mind tweaked by the smoke?
Yep.Richard gives me the goosebumps sometimes. Such a mysterious character, love it.
Who is Ellie? I dont remember that character.
Damn it, someone bring Faraday so he can explain to us the time travel thing. I mean Miles did a pretty good job of it until he got stuck ... That discution looked so promising, clarified everithing we already knew and when things got interesting ... flat ... nothing ..
The army chick with the braids, it was the Jughead episode. Ellie Hawkings? Faraday's mom when she was younger???????????????![]()
Ellie was the girl with the gun from the Jughead episode. Now that it is shown that she is a person of leadership, I think that it is safe to say that Ellie = Eloise Hawking.
