So, you're saying that his next move should be to play the part of Jesus Christ?
Just watch any of his movies he made after Training Day. He carries some of the same tendencies and sayings in all of them. I'm not saying that he is two bad movies away from being Nino Brown, but I think he has to land one more big role in order to really solidify himself among the hollywood elite. Just my opinion.

Maybe not that far, but at the very least a Nastradamas type of character.
Maybe he can do a George Washington movie.
We can have one of Will Smith's sons play little George Washington chopping down the cherry tree and then fast forward 40 years to Denzel leading the American's to victory against the British.
Janet Jackson can play the part of Martha Washington.
I smell a hit.
Or as George Washington Carver as he goes through the details of how to make peanut butter.
My idea is better.
Besides, Carver wasn't a "real" scientist.
He can do this in a Madonna video.
The actor that played Bill from Bill And Ted's.
That's a good one....that dude was most excellent.
Damn. Good answer.
Having both Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and The Lost Boys on your resume =/= failure.
+1
Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison was about the only positive in a typically overblown Oliver Stone vehicle.
As previously stated by others, Kilmer was good in The Doors, Tombstone, Heat, Willow, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Wonderland and Thunderheart. Sounds like the overall consensus is he is a good actor.
And by the way, Real Genius, as much as I like it, is nothing more than a goofy comedy set in a school for smart kids. Not exactly meant to be an award winning performance. The whole point of his role in that movie was that he was incredibly smart but used his brains to have fun and f with people. I've always liked that movie.
Kent: "Good luck, buddy boy."
Chris: "Kent, do you mind if I name my first child after you? Dip Knight has a nice ring to it."
Like American Gangster?
Ever heard of a guy named Russell Crowe before?![]()
Russel Crowe didn't exactly outshine Denzel Washington in that movie. Good work, but Washington made that movie.
Don't get me wrong Washington had his moments in that movie no doubt. But my argument was with PW when I was trying to get him to see that Denzel Washington has taken some of his on-screen tendencies since Training Day with him to most of his movies since. I think he is still a easily a draw all by himself. But to be honest I did forget all about AG though.
The Lost Boys kicks ass.
Yeah man, that was great movie. Those ing animals were scary as .
As much as I love
Jon Favreau
I think he was overshadowed but Vaughn, Stiller, Wilson, Ferrell and even Black
Carey Makes $20MM a movie.
Yep, that guy is a true failure . . .
Martin Lawrence
Love the guy as a stand-up comedian and his show "Martin"! He has no business doing movies like Big Momma's House.![]()
I liked Big Momma's House but Nia Long was the reason.
Matthew McConaughey
