i felt so alive watchin the lakers mount up a 39 pont loss that fateful night known as game 6
The loss sucked A$$ no doubt. But at the same time, that kind of humiliating ass-kicking made the Lakers alot better and alot tougher.
The Game 6 woodshed beating might end up being the night that launched the Lakers into a 5 peat.

I talk about Sasha so much because he's a symbol for how fickle some LA fans are. All the hype about him being a great defender and being the "Manu stopper" because he was able to defend Ginobili playing on one ankle was the product of a bunch of bandwagon LA fans who didn't watch basketball before last year.
And you think he's good because you made an f'n screen name about him using the nickname he gave himself. Plus you had that re ed ass avatar until Vujacic was playing so crappy that it was embarrassing to have that av.

There are several old-guard teams on the decline and really only a handful of young up-and-comers.
Just hypothetically, if the Lakers do end up winning it all this year, who will be there next year that couldn't stop them this year?
The Lakers have caught the NBA at the right moment, very similar to the rise of the Bulls in the 90's after the decline of the Lakers/Celtics.
Every team who is considered a serious "contender" this year has age issues except for the Lakers. We've already seen the best years from the old powerhouse Suns, Mavs & Pistons.
Every other team is rebuilding or still too young.

Well, "Fickleness" from fans generates negative Karma which morphs into this never ending energy source that surrounds all of Metro-Phoenix hence karma attaching itself to the Phoenix line-up and creating poor vibes which in turn make the players weaker. Much like kryptonite.
Sasha is immune to this energy.

Collinson ing sucks and has vanished in just about every big game of his career. At least Farmar showed up in Championship game a few years back after carrying that team, on bad ankle, through the tournament.
