Agree 100% on this one. We will see the end of this CIA BS soon enough.
The Spurs will win the the rest of their regular season games, and the 2009 San Antonio Spurs "team stone" will split on April 5th @ Cleveland....
You heard it here first......

Can I make a thread stating something?
I am going to guarantee you the Lakers win the rest of their regular season games. It's a BOLD prediction. This reminds me of those people who guarantee you the #8 seed will beat the #1, then when it finally happen "They saw it happening"
That's a bold statement alright.....I'd like to see it tho.
Our boys could drop another as soon as tonight.
I made a prediction saying if the Trailblazers get the #8 spot they would eliminate the Lakers in the first round. (I made the thread BEFORE the Blazers massacred the Lakers the last time they played)
Damn if they can win this Sunday in Cleveland where they have only lost once to the Lakers, that would be ing awesome!![]()
haha that would be great but no way thats happening, you must have not been following the NBA for long...many teams including the spurs typically pack it in with a few games left to rest their key guys and usually get a loss or 2 or 3 to scrubby teams.
we lose 3 more times.
You might not be watching the NBA right now cause a tanking of 2 or 3 games can drop you to the 6th or even 7th spot.
I disagree with your take. I think the Spurs might split their remaining games, if they play well. But this is not a great team.
That said, I love your spirit. It is much appreciated.
And there's no way they even play Cleveland close for more than a half. That has 20-pt loss written all over it.
Spurs match up well with Cleveland. I see it being a close game and if the Spurs can pull it off with a solid team effort it could be one of those victories that gets the team over the hump and much momentum heading into the playoffs.
Hence i call it the "Stone Splitting" game....

It's pretty ridiculous that only the Lakers have won in Cleveland.
I will be rooting for the Spurs to beat Cleveland in Cleveland, get it done!
Don't know whether the Silver and Black will get it done in cleveland, but I will say this: you're my kind of Laker fan, Allanon. Hope your team makes you proud this year (as long as it's not at the expense of my Spurs, of course!)![]()
yes i know. but you are quite the noobie if you really think we arent going to lose any more games.
Thank you much LoneStar. And I certainly hope the best for your Spurs. We can duke it out in the WCF.
Until then, Go Spurs!
Theres only 9 games left. If there were 20 games left and i claimed no defeats then call me a noobie.
but a 9 game winning streak is not a long shot at all. I call it a bold prediction cause it includes a win in Cleveland and im predicting it to be a season altering win that can give this team the extra spark it needs to make a serious run at a Championship this year.
For your prediction to become a reality, who plays more? Finley or Bowen?
Bowen is merely a match up player now. If the opposing team doesnt have a legit wing scorer then you wont see Bowen at all in the game. So with that said i expect to see lots of Finley and peaks and glimpses of Bowen.
Lots of Finley means we aren't playing any defense. Say o to 5-4.
Were still the best defensive team in the Western Conference with Finley getting lots of minutes.
Based on what? Points per game allowed? Maybe.
For opp FG% they are 5th in the west.
The reason I bring this up is because when there's 5 mins left in the game and michael finley runds down the court and hoists a clanker early in the shot clock when there are four other scorers on the court like he did in new orleans the other night, the wrong priority in is in place. If they dont get better defensively in the last nine games its not gonna last long. And that includes a possible first round date with the hornets or the jazz.
Might have started this thread one game too early?????
Who would have thought?
Game not over but they look like crap against a lotto team AT HOME!
