Uh oh. Here it comes.
What's wrong with you?
i take that back i just found " have you ever seen the rain"![]()
, I was going to suggest GWAR.
If I was going to play work-friendly music, it would be hard to go wrong with classical. Dvorak, Beethoven, Mozart, etc; truly incredible music that'll offend no one but kids with bad taste. 80s pop can be ok, like 99 Luftballons or Robert Palmer. Kraftwerk has some great if you like Electro that's not too out there. DJ Shadow's Entroducing... is also a great stuff. Squarepusher has some great too.
Look up "Someday Never Comes", "Who'll Stop The Rain", "Lodi", and "Suzi Q".
they are ok however only one going on the list is "Who'll Stop The Rain"
maybe i like/hate rain![]()
There's something wrong with you.
baseline bum....i'm afraid non were able to make the list.
Kraftwerk-trans Europe Express
One of the best songs ever.
They have a lot of great ones.
Sia- Soon we'll be found
These are all albums.
Jeff Buckley-Grace
Andrew Bird-Armchair Apocrypha
Muse-Absolution
Blue Sky Black Death-Late Night Cinema
Mogwai-Mr. Beast
Devotchka-Una Volta

The acopters - By the Grace of God and Disappointment Blues are good albums.
what about some OAR?
bright eyes or wilco as well
Safe and non-threatening?
How about "Sometimes when we touch"?
Or Christopher Cross "Sailing"? (That song won a Grammy)
Or the Carpenters' "We Have Only Just Begun"
Who sang "Endless Love"?
That's safe/non-threatening
I didn't know until reading this thread that non-threatening was synonymous with crap.
I am sure you probably have some country fans there, how about:
Alabama
Brooks & Dunn
Johnny Cash
The Charlie Daniels Band (my fav)
George Jones
Dolly Parton
You mentioned the Wallflowers One Headlight, but I think most of that album is safe; I love it. You could throw in All for You by Sisiter Hazel. And the first Dido cd is a bit of a downer but it's good and safe.
