Wishful thinking and finger crossing is always nice...
With the playoffs so near, hopefully he can break out of his slump. He's even bricking wide open shots consistently now.
Since a lot of teams have adjusted to him, along with Pop making him the backup PG, we're gonna really cross our fingers that he can be solid come playoff time.

hedo turkoglu 2, electric boogaloo
I can't get mad at Mason. He was on a roll until Pop ed him with that backup PG
I'm not necessarily blaming Mason, but considering where he used to be as a shooter, and how quickly he's fallen off is a bit disturbing.
But then again we've already got Finley for super streaky shooting.
mason and bonner..when they can not make shots..they are just worthless
Mason can go 0/10 in a game, and still hit the clutch basket.
I believe in Maze
I was thinking that too, as I pictured myself lining up and draining an open 3 after he missed one in the 4th. Why can't he make those shots??
That's why I don't get mad at Finley when he's playing power forward. Yet everyone rips on him when he's playing that position. It starts with Pop for putting them in that position.
True, he definitely deserves the clutch tag, but the problem is if he goes 0-10 we may not even be in a position to rely on him to hit a clutch shot.
We need him to be consistent the whole time.
If Mason is 0/10, there will be no clutch moments for shoot for, it will be a blowout and Mason will be at fault...
Maze is taking bad shots because he is playing a lot as a backup PG, so he'll come off the screen after bringing the ball up and take bad shots.
His shot selection and % is better as a SG
