Cheating husband caught on Google Street View

A FURIOUS wife has called in divorce lawyers after spotting her husband’s car parked outside another woman’s house — on Google.
She saw the Range Rover while using the internet giant’s new Street View service to snoop on a female friend’s home.
The hubby had claimed he was away on business, but his missus recognised his motor immediately because of its blinged-up hubcaps.
The love cheat is not the only husband trapped by Google’s controversial new 360-degree photo search which covers 25 cities and towns throughout the country.
Top media lawyer Mark Stephens said: “I was talking about the Range Rover case when another divorce lawyer came up to say his firm was dealing with the same sort of thing. People are getting caught out on Google.
“I suspect the husband’s lawyers will claim it was an invasion of privacy that will cost him his marriage and Range Rover.”
Street View has triggered a stream of complaints from people caught on camera since its launch on March 20.
Google removed some images — including a man sheepishly leaving a sex shop. An office worker was also caught having a crafty cigarette by a No Smoking sign.

the one of my home has my old car, from about 2 years ago
Like all the pictures were taken at the same time. The one of our house is like six months old.
Ours still shows an empty lot ... which would make it at least 2 1/2 years old.

Its still an invasion of privacy. This kind of stuff should be illegal.

I dont like it either, but so long faces etcc. are covered up, its legal.
my street must've been in early January because someone's Christmas tree is on the curb. I know it's recent because I can tell by what plants I have in the front
Although, they could have picked any other day than trash day to take a picture our street
Another thing about the street view is one angle to the next can be a different time or day.
My daughter and I just looked at the house she lives in a few days ago. From one angle, her Neon is parked in front of it. Change the angle, and you see her boyfriends Subaru.
Now I'd like to know when how the woman knows what day the picture of the husbands vehicle was parked there. Was he in the picture too? I didn't read that. Did I miss it? I wonder if it was parked there on a day she went to her friends house, or a day they both did.
Did anyone rule out that possibility?
The street view of my place is at least 1-1/2 years old and the satellite view is sometime two summers ago.
Why do they have to cover faces? I've see people in street view! As far as I know, you're wrong.
I understand that technically its not illegal.
I still feel that I'm owned a right to not be digitally tracked. I feel its an invasion of my personal space.
Google didn't cheat.

Cameras stalking your every move isn't invasive?

if someone is out in clear public view, it's not an invasion of privacy.
I think it is pretty cool. Can't tell when the pic was taken of my street. I don't have a problem with it. Yet that is.
I'm lucky. Given the weather/climate where I live, most of the satellite and street views on Google are too damn foggy to see anything.
I just tried it for the first time. Awesome technology but damn it really does make me uncomfortable.
It's a moment in time that gets updated in very long intervals. I think about 3-4 years.
