Coming from you, I bet it was Tim Duncan.
P/S: Is this Octuple Cycle thing a real thing? Or just something you made up?
NBA Trivia - Which Spurs have had an Octuple Cycle?
An Octuple Cycle - had in one game:
1+ block
2+ three-pointers
3+ steals
4+ offensive rebounds
5+ free throws
6+ assists
7+ defensive rebounds
8+ two-point FGs
[edit - or the stats can be re-arranged in a different order]
That means at least:
27 points
11 rebounds
6 assists
3 steals
1 block
What NBA players have done this?
from Galileo, the triviameister!
UPDATE!!
The real stat is the re-arranged re-arranged Octuple Cycle, ususally just called an Octuple Cycle with 1, 2, 3, ... 8 of all 8 stats, but you can mix and match.
It doesn't have to be the exact form above, that is just the easiest way for many players.

from the spurs, my guess would be either Elliott or Ginobili
Duncan. Game 1, 2003 Finals.
32 points
20 rebounds
6 assists
3 steals
7 blocks
It seems like a stat line that Lebron puts up regularly though.
What a beast! Did he have two threes that game?
No three's. He was just playing out of his mind that season.
Its real.
You can also have a re-arranged Octuple Cycle, where you go from 1 to 8 with the stats in any order.
The hard part is a 1, 2, or 3 blocks/three-pointers/steals
Then you usually need 4, 5, or 6 free throws/assists/offensive boards
and
7 or 8 defensive rebounds/two-pointers
Keep lookin'
:-)
Damn, I missed the three's in the equation.
So it isn't Duncan?
I bet it was an old dude I don't know about.
I think Duncan has to be out of it. I don't think he's ever taken two three's in a game, never mind made two.
Duncan would need to have one three to qualify.
Then look for a game with 2 steals.
That is the hard part for Duncan.
From a quick look, Duncan has taken two three's a few times over the years, but he hasn't made two in a game.
This is like hitting for the cycle in baseball, the hardest part is getting the triple. The double and home run aren't easy either!
Its easier in basketball.
Duncan needs a game with a three, and then probably 2 steals.
the real stat is the re-arranged quadruple cycle.
I'm out. If Duncan has done it someone please find it before I get back or I'll be up all night looking for it.![]()
David Robinson
March 29, 1994
vs. Dallas (at Dallas)
1 3pt made
2 steals
3 off. reb.
4 def.reb.
5 blocks
6 assists
7+ free throws
8+ field goals
What do I win?
Come on guys, did Duncan ever get an octuple cycle (in any order)?
What about Lebron?
He would need, say, a three, 2 blocks, 3 steals, and 4 offensive boards for starters.
What about Jordan or Clyde Drexler?
and from what i could find, Duncan has done it only once:
March 16, 2001
vs. New Jersey (at San Antonio)
1 3pt made
2 steals
3 assists
4+ blocks
5 off. reb
6 free throws
7+ def. reb.
8+ field goals
You will be hailed as a stat freak on spurstalk and given $300 vbookie dollars!

Robinson did it again in 1996.
Feb. 18th, 1996
vs. Houston (at San Antonio)
1 3pt made
2 steals
3+ off. reb.
4 free throws made
5 assists
6+ def. reb.
7 blocks
8+ field goals
DRob rocks!!
