I think so too. With TP playing at the level he is, and still having TD we should be able to get there at least. Mason filled in for Manu while he was out with 30 mpg and either 20 points or so every night. Mason is a scorer...something we didnt have last year at this time. I still believe. Do you?
i think spurs fans' pessimism over ginobili's health started last year in the playoffs when he obviously played on a hobbled ankle. then it started to gain ground when ginobili wore that boot over the summer while deciding to still play in the olympics. when ginobili went down during the olympics and required major surgery, those voices got a little louder. when he injured his other ankle, the voices got even louder. and now that ginobili is shut down for the rest of the season, the pessimism is harder to ignore.
I don't think so. I think they'll just freestyle it on offense and try to outscore people. Duncan and Bowen need each other defensively, and if Duncan is this hobbled, it's pointless. They need to just try to throw the young guys on the floor with Parker and go "Summertime" as Pop calls it.
We (Manu fans) really don't need this crap right now. Thanks for understanding.
