Manu's dunk on Yao was far more impressive

Von Wafer's one and only career highlight.
I'd take Von's performance anyday over Oden's career night 4 fouls in 11 minutes trying to slow down Yao.

He reminds me of that dinosaur with the spine thing all over its back
    Stegosaurus?

And that was a sick dunk. I'm happy for Wafer. He's come a long way since his days as a Lakers scrub.

I absolutely love how hyped Wafer gets after that dunk...and on any big play he makes.

    Spinosaurus.

Good dunk by Wafer, but it's a reverse dunk with the defender a distance from him. It wasn't "on" anyone.

Nice dunk. But what's with the announcers? They sound like kindergarten teachers with Down syndrome.
    Meet Clyde Drexler.

Clyde is an idiot while he's announcing, its either "Yea ____ can do that." "You gotta put a body on_." "When that doesn't work you gottta get back to your meat and potatoes."

He basically repeats what ever Bill says but he is also pretty funny.

    I'm confused...

Oden is 20 feet away with Yao where he set a screen... How in the world is this a dunk on Oden?

i watched this game. Von is really fantastic and his dunk face to Oden is deeply impressed. What to do for Von is better defensive.

I really like Von Wafer :

    - Cool name (especially for a black dude).... Von Wafer...Von Wafer

    - Cool fro-hawk

    - Instant offense; the guy can light up just like that

Von Wafer................. Von Wafer........... Von Wafer.......

Maybe if people weren't so intent on being s to Oden, (which is hilarious because he's a really nice guy), people wouldn't be making mistakes like you did.

Seriously... all you have to do is pay ANY ATTENTION AT ALL to the video and you can CLEARLY see Aldridge, Outlaw and Rudy all move to contest while Oden is guarding Yao near the perimeter.

You're right and I don't like that either. I was just cracking some jokes, my bad if it offended. Seriously though, if a player is a you can understand but Oden is an extremely humble guy.

Clyde even said it last night-"I don't like those Sam Bowie comparisons"

Von was a Laker once...unfortunately, it was during a time when Phil Jackson was still too much of an old-school jackass to trust 1st/2nd year players with more than garbage time, if even that much. One team's unrealized scrub is another team's solid every-night player. Nice job, Lakers.

One thing Von said was that he learned a lot from Kobe. And when Von had that career night vs the lakers Kobe told him he was proud of him.

Yeh Von is the real deal, man. Phil never gave him half a chance, really. Some guys, you just have to throw in a game situation before you'll know what kind of player they really are.

Von wasn't mature, or humble enough at that time. Getting bounced from team to team tends to make you realize what your true worth is. Ego isn't a problem anymore, and he's now willing to accept his role.

It's okay, I wasn't offended, I just don't get it. People want to see him fail so bad for some reason (not you necessarily), and he's a really great guy, and he does a decent job for his situation... I just don't understand it.
