Yes...yes they do...
Do they have 'em in Texas? Inquiring minds want to know.
they've been here for at least 20 years.
they seem like they're just barely hanging on, but I love their burgers.
Over priced for a burger that really isnt all that good.
There are better places ....
IMHO
I haven't had a Fuddruckers burger in years. Am I missing something?![]()
solid burger. fresh baked bun helps make it. fries are good too.
i think they close too early though, like around 8 on weeknights? they need to be open till 10 and sell cheap pitchers. you can still embrace the family crowd, but don't shun the burger/beer/sports watching crowd.
think they started in TX too
The quality must depend on ownership somewhat, because the three out here in ABQ are terrific. I never see them when I travel through Texas and never hear anyone mention them, so I wasn't sure if they had found their way there yet.
I guess that answers my question though.
Lucky headphones by the way, Spursstalker.
The ones here are open late and offer beer specials at night, and each one probably has 20 TVs. They're more of a sports bar in the evening. The franchise must give some decision making power to the individual unit owners because it sounds like they're all a little different.
I have been to some around the country that are awesome, and others ... not so much.
By the way, how's your boy? And why is the SPAM rotten this year?
like 3 in san antonio one near ingram last time i checked.
Chopper Jr. is awesome. 5 1/2 already if you can believe it. I'll post a pic or two here soon.
I don't know what's wrong with the Spam. I almost didn't even do a Spam post this year, and now I wish I'd of stuck with my gut instinct and passed this year by. Manu's health had me worried from the start of the season.
They started in San Antonio per their website.
Fuddruckers is allright.
Best burgers in town can be found either at Sam's Burger Joint or the Longhorn Cafe, though.
mmm. That sounds like a good downtown lunch. One downtown, one on Ingram and 410 and one in the Collanade?
Do they have chili burgers?
I tried it the first time in Connecticut (Foxwoods) this year. They were pretty solid. Good food, not overly priced imo, and I enjoyed the burger bar. Plus, it plays music that I enjoy.
and one at 410/Broadway behind the bank building
WOW time flies. It seems like he was just born. Are we getting old?
Yeah, it sucks!I don't know what's wrong with the Spam. I almost didn't even do a Spam post this year, and now I wish I'd of stuck with my gut instinct and passed this year by. Manu's health had me worried from the start of the season.
they are overpriced if you eat a combo by yourself. 1/3 lb, fries and drink I think runs close to $8.
If you don't mind sharing and you can do it, the way to go to save $ is to get the 1 lb burger and split it
Actually found one in Michigan recently...good stuff.
Fuddruckers is good here in Dallas, I have one about 5 minutes from my house. The best part about them is they have nacho cheese and chili out with the condiments, so you can have chili cheese fries everytime with no upcharge...
Yeah, Fuddruckers started in San Antonio. The original was between Broadway and Nacogdoches. That was Frank Romano,s 1st franchise...He later started Macaroni Grill and Rudys BBQ and Eatsies to name a few others...
Fuddruckers was awesome when he first started it but really went downhill when he sold it...We won't eat at the one at Wurzbach and I10 anymore because it is so dirty...
i used to love the one off broadway/naco when i was a kid... now of days, eh.
the buns were what sold ya on the burger though.
I knew he started Macaroni Grill, but I didn't know he started Rudy's.
The guy that started PF Changs also started Flemming's Steakhouse.
