Carnitas rock baby!!!
you all for mentioning carnitas. There's no place to find it here (not good, anyway), and I don't have time to make it myself.
Carnitas rock baby!!!
I knew there were others who like it.

The best carnitas are made with pork butt cooked in orange juice, mmmm
yes yes we know you like to eat weiners
+1 in a buttered flour tortilla
zero calories![]()
absolutely!
.....now I want to cook some.
See, I braise mine in a mixture that includes some OJ. But some people look at me like I am crazy. I have seen people fry theirs with orange slices, and others cook it in milk. I can't see how milk is good, cus I use milk or buttermilk for chicken strips, to tenderize the meat. But if you leave it too long it breaks it down too much and then its mushy. So I can't imagine what heat+milk would do.
We needed a visual -

English please. This is America. If some crazy injun is out there shooting chickens with arrows we all need to understand what's being said so we can properly plan to protect our poultry.
Thank you.
Hahaha, huevo con ween.
That was a classic childhood staple.
Que dice este wey?
I just throw the butt in a pot with some water, OJ and very few es and let it simmer until tender. Then I cut it into chunks and flash fry it with some onions.
pinche mexicanos!!!
Why do they call it a pork butt when it's a cut from the pork shoulder?
, a fresh pot of beans, some shredded cheese, and some homemade corn tortillas do it for me. talk about global warming.
Manny was right on.
I also like a fresh pot of beans too.
I remember as a kid dinner meant refried beans with some homemade fries and flour tortillas.
Damn, I miss that kind of stuff.
My dad and brother would load a tortilla with fries and drench some Louisianna hot sauce all over them. I was never fond of that, but every time I smell Louisianna hot sauce it reminds me of that.
I feel like eating mole right now.
God damn . . . . carnitas.
this ing thread made my day. I have a fresh pot of beans at home and some corn tortillas straight from the border from when I went a couple weeks back. I bring back stacks of those things and freeze them then heat them up. Almost as good as the ones my mom makes.
Dude, I'm thinking about buying a tortilla press just so I can make them at home.
