Thanks for the obvious.
The Blazers won the battle of the boards 43-26 tonight. This is where Duncan's knees are killing the Spurs. At least against us anyway. You can't get dominated on the boards like that and expect to win.
it was about a back to back game
back to back games should be gone
not fair to fans and players
Fact is we've been getting killed on the boards all year. It's one of our weaknesses, along with defending the perimeter shot.
We played last night too.
We are (were) #1 in defensive rebounding
Our weaknesses are our coach and our offense
you younger
except for oden
spurs suck on o rebounding they are busy running back on d not going for rebound
Gooden should've had a better showing on the boards than he did.
Wasn't as big a deal when the shots were falling early on and the ball was moving on offense. Heck, we even did okay for a bit with Tim on the bench. I think Gooden forced the action a bit tonight as well.
a non tlong post??
anyways I agree, we played like ass, good win for the young blazers
I would have loved Camby or Tyson.
Maybe he was gassed. Remember he was inactive for a while before we got him. And he played a bunch of minutes last night.
To me, it's inexcusable we're giving Bonner the minutes we're giving and he can barely rebound. I mean, a guy like KT, who has a vertical of 3" grabs more boards than him.
