The guy's schtick is boring and annoying. Guess your def of genius is different than mine.
The guy's a comedic genius...and it has nothing to do w/ the witty things he says. How he stays in ing character I have no idea.

It's like I said. It has nothing to do w/ his schtick, per se, but merely the fact that he doesn't break character in the situations he gets in is impressive. I do think he's pretty talented, though.

Bruno was never funny.
Well the bit where he gets a bunch of phobic frat boys to expose their ass cheeks and deliver MMA humping maneuvers to the camera for "gay TV" was pretty good, but other than that Bruno was never funny.
I've never found any of his characters funny.

only funny thing from Bruno, but it's pretty good.
I gues Borat is better than this, but still can't wait for Bruno to come out.

I loved Borat, and am quite fond of Cohen in general, but I don't see Bruno being funny enough for a whole movie. I plan on seeing it, but am skeptical.
Incidentally, as much as I have enjoyed Cohen's characters, I wish he'd do more outside of them. His performance was one of my favorite things in Sweeney Todd.
