Well, if we are talking about her particular faith, it's not obvious to me. There are too many flavors of religion to nail it down from those words. If we are talking about the generally accepted tenets of Christianity, sure.

I think we can safely assume that she was religious and a nutjob. But we can't necessarily assume that she was a religious nutjob.
Isn't the entire point of assumption is to assess whats right in front of us? She played the heaven/ card. How could you possibly conclude anything else?
