Good episode. Kate does suck but her MILF outfit from last week made up for it.
Does anyone else think that Ben is now Locke's ? I love how Locke is now the one with all the anwers and Ben is the one asking questions.

Kate is not even the hottest one on the island, she's built like a guy.
Locke is probably whatever Christian Shepherd is- would explain why all of a sudden he knows all this stuff about the island. And it's about time Ben is someone's , I enjoyed when Alex choked him.
Chances are that Alex is whatever Christian and John are. She died, too.

Juliet has nice boobs and isn't nearly as annoying, so I'd rather watch her. She'd probably look better dressed up too.
And that Shannon chick from S1 was pretty hot too.

Thoughts on the episode...
I was pretty annoyed that the island let Ben live without so much as a broken bone. I mean, I'm almost positive the guy is going to get what's coming to him in the end, but they set this episode up for him to be judged. And when the smoke judges him it only reflects about the situation with his daughter...what about the dozens of people he's killed or had killed for his own selfish purposes, all the lies he's told, etc?
In the end all he gets is pushed up against a wall really hard by the image of his daughter...lame. Having said that, I knew from the beginning he wasn't going to be killed off and in the context of the show, I'm sure the island thought him too important in its outcome to kill him. But we all know Ben isn't done deceiving...so why would the island give him a second chance?
The positive from this show is Locke's rebirth. He's a whole new person...confident, aware, and filled with purpose. The comparison I came up with was Gandalf in LOTR...going from a grey to white wizard. My favorite part was when he stood up to Cesar even though Cesar had the gun. It was as if Locke KNEW nothing was going to happen to him, that he wasn't going to get hurt or die.
We'll see if the new Locke fades, but I think he's here to stay.
Why would Claire be that kind of revenant thing? AFAIK, she hasn't died yet....
So who's the hottest? Shannon? Shannon was a stick figure. I've never found the stick figure look to be hot or attactive. That's kinda harsh to say Juliet is homely looking. She looks pretty when she's cleaned up. What about Jack's ex wife? I know that she isn't on the island but she's been on the show.

well, it's easy to speculate that if Juliette wasn't able to do anything that Jack wouldn't really have been able to do much either.I can't believe that Jack didn't save Ben! I wonder what would have happened if Jack saved him or Ben, yes whatever happened, happened, but still... it's always fun to wonder.
I think the writers at the time really screwed things up with "Jacob". If they could redo it, I'm betting they would scratch Jacob off the script.I thought that Richard took Ben to Jacob, but I guess it's something in the temple because that's where he took him right?

they killed one of my favortie characters, Mr Eko, pretty quickly after having devoted a whole lot of time to him too.

This is a small tidbit, but recall that Locke asked Christian for help when he fell down the well and Christian said "no, you have to do it on your own."
Locke actually offered help for Ben when he fell down the hole in the temple.
Locke still appears to be himself and still doesn't have all the answers.
I don't think the island is a 100% "good" island. It's a self preserving island.
I think it didn't kill Ben because it knows that it still needs Ben.
The Season Finale will allegedly be a Jacob-Centric episode.

Above average episode.
I liked it a lot more that I thought that I would being a Miles-Centric episode. There were plenty of "meat and potatoes" throughout the episode instead of teasers and "fluff and stuff" at the ending like it has been as of late.
One thing, though. They already took one week off several weeks ago and now not another new show for two weeks!!!! That's bull .

Kate was annoying. Why do you have to go to Roger, woman? Ok her heart was in the right place, but does she have to get involved in everything?
oh and little miles is really cute!!
We do know now that Widmore is not behind Ilana's motives but she's likely associated with the group that kidnapped Miles (and his fish taco). SO Ilana is on the opposite side of Widmore based on this episode. So, is Ben with Ilana or is there a THIRD side?

She is associated with them. The guy in the van is the guy that's with Ilana on the island.

I was surprised by this episode. I didn't think an episode about Miles would be that good. His story was a pretty good one. It was pretty predictable that Dr. Chang was his dad. The Star Wars references were funny. Kate was annoying in the episode. Jack was too. He's kinda become the pussy of the show now. I'm curious to see where and/or when Daniel has been.
This last episode sucked big time.
