See...this is my argument against the existence of a God. Why would said God give us a marvelous brain like we have, and then expect us to shut it off completely, not use it, worship completely etherial imaginary beings, and blindly follow a book written by an ignorant Middle Eastern herding culture 4000 years ago?

Oh, and there's a ton of evidence from astronomy that once you learn, it's kind of hard to accept that the world began only 4,000-5,000 years ago...and the bull lies continue everywhere as you look further into Christianity...and also every other religion for that matter.
Well he clearly didn't want us to advance as far as we have in technology and other areas...that's IF he exists...that's right, it's not a certainty. But if he didn't want us to be as knowledgeable of our world, maybe he would have done something about it. Or is this another one of his things he's keeping around "for a reason" ...
I don't believe the world began only 4 or 5 thousand years ago and I love astronomy and science and the Hubble telescope and DNA and watching the Dinosaur and Giant Mammoth shows on NatGeo and the Discovery Channel and watching the "Truth about the Bible" shows on A&E and The History Channel for I'm not a closed minded person I just happen to have a faith. Is that so bad?
