No, he's not. The trade was about dumping Swift and his contract as well as getting Battier. Without the cap flexibility the Rockets would not have been able to add salary (Jackie Butler) to get Scola.

He is same player as always. Excellent offense and good rebounding. very good team player works very hard does everything for team. But still poor defense.

No. He is same as always. For years he will either make this shot all the time or in other years miss it all the time. This is how he always was. Nothing new.

i disagree that his defense is poor. i think he is an average defender. he is certainly not a potential defensive liability like brooks can be.
