So what? All teams go through good and bad years. This just isn't our decade. A lot of teams on that list could say the same during the 80's/90's.
So Rocket fan has no room to trash-talk Mavfan right now. I hope Spurs fan isn't pulling the 4 rings card once Duncan retires and the core is broken up either.

I don't even hear any Lakerfans brag about the 3-peat. I just don't understand how Rocketfans can hang they're hat on the mid 90's so much.
It's pretty simple to answer. By quoting 4 Spurs rings and 2 Rocket franchise rings for a total of 6 Texas rings one can rub salt in the wounds of mav fans whose franchise has zero rings. This is particularly hard to take for some mavs fans given their close, but yet so far.....2006 playoff meltdown. Whether, it was 15 yrs ago or 1 yr ago, the statement is true. Btw, the 3 peat (ie shaq/kobe lakers) is the reason why spurs fans hate the lakers so much b/c the spurs would have about 6, maybe 7 rings were it not for them.
