never play the rockets or the cavaliers. even with 5 minute quarters and me using battier and artest to guard him lebron went for 50 8 and 6 with 20 layups. the game is truly pathetic. how does lebron have a 3 point rating of 80!
Yao is so ridiculous. All he has to do is roll to the rim, and my guy never steals it. If I play behind him, easy catch and lay-in or jam.
Kidd is the ultimate defender under the rim in the game.
I don't know about 2k9, but Duncan cannot be guarded on 2k8 unless he's trapped as soon as he touches the ball.
Go and make a player with a lousy rating but a height of 7 foot 9, I assure you that he will be bloody godly too.

Try using a player (like Kidd) with a high steal rating and let him guard Yao. Whenever Yao does a move, it's almost always a steal.
I've done it. I left his rating at the original 'banger' rating, which was about 77, and he dropped 30 and 8.

Amazing isn't it. I rarely do it though and not on purpose. It just happens.
Seriously, I think the problem is new gen machines, not the games themselves.

Push RT + LT when he's about to catch the ball to slide your feet under Yao. He'll break a leg and be out for the rest of the season... works everytime!
